Didn't we have a ton of cap space at the beginning of Free Agency? That being said who were the top FA Olinemen that left their teams the past 2 years? We should have definitely drafted more lineman this year but then everyone would be panicking about starting rookies like they did with Mitchell. Seems like Mitchell had himself another very good game. So that is looking like a hit. And he isnt a blob that is one binge from eating himself out of the NFL. If anything he needs to add some size. I say we draft a tackle every year. Need to keep the pipeline going. We need to go after Orlando Brown. Even if that means cutting Mosely, Lawson, Davis and letting Fant walk. CJ Uzomah 3 years $24M Carl Lawson 3 years $45M John Franklin Myers 4 years $55M Mekhi Becton 3 years $18M Conner McGovern 3 year $27M Money wasted thus far while O line still sucks. Granted they haven't played a lot together and there has been a lot of shifting around due to injury, but I agree, quit screwing around and draft and/or buy a competent O line.

I will add... go back and look at this years free agents and trade candidates. Who do you really think we could have gotten. Add in that they thought they filled the holes as did many sports writers. I agree they probably should have seen the Becton injury coming, that was their biggest failure.

If we drafted a tackle we wouldnt have one of them. I think we could have pushed a little harder for Morgan Moses but he wanted to be a starter. Tackle, Safety and LB need to be addressed this offseason.

Instead we gave a 37 year old tackle 2 years 22 mil.

we lost to the defending AFC champs. not the worst thing that could happen It's a mixed bag. You could look at it as we're 1-2 against 3 playoff teams with our back up 52 year old qb You could also say we should be 0-3 if Chubb takes a knee Given our OL problems (fuck you Benton!), Wilson's mobility should be helpful if he doesn't blow out his knee tying his shoelaces. all true But I wanna know WTF is up with Becki Mecton. How many games has slacker actually played? What happened to our shutdown LT? Fuck him/her/they/mums

Block someone, it's that simple. Glad to see that happen nowadays Eh. I feel like it's a rookie move to stay with the first block. To peel off and knock another defender out of the play is a veteran move, most likely not that of a late round rookie making his third start. Mitchell looks like he can be developed into a solid decade-long starter.

Good on him doing that. Eh. Or something.
