Initially I wanted to go WR OT then Center but I'm having second thoughts about WR and had a crazy idea. Draft Bijan Robinson, the RB out of Texas. Daniel Jeremiah said he was comparable to Saquon Barkley and Zeke Elliot. McShay has him as the 4th best player in the draft. He said he catches the ball well out of the backfield and is an excellent blocker.
We're gonna have a new OC, new offense and a new QB. Breece Hall might be ready for week 1 but there's no guarantee he'll perform like he did last year pre injury.
RB seems to be the position that transitions easiest to the NFL. If we took him it's like an insurance policy if Hall isn't ready to go or isn't 100%. Plus if he wears down later in the season hopefully Hall will be back to full strength and can carry the load again.
Having those two in the backfield would be a nightmare to defend and would definitely open things up for the WRs. Plus if the line is a little wobbly they both are great blockers.
Our schedule next year is no joke and we can't afford to lose games because our offense is still figuring it out early in the season.
What do you think and what do you want?

Don’t we need more/better OL?

Don’t we need more/better OL? Sign a RT, maybe a swing T, we're ok at G, draft a Center and Left Tackle and I think we'll be ok.

Initially I wanted to go WR OT then Center but I'm having second thoughts about WR and had a crazy idea. Draft Bijan Ribinson, the RB out of Texas. Daniel Jeremiah said he was comparable to Saquon Barkley and Zeke Elliot. McShay has him as the 4th best player in the draft. Bijan Robinson is an incredible prospect and I've been watching him for years and he reminds me off, you guessed it, Breece Hall. They are very similar with the sharp cut and breakaway speed coupled with great hands. If Robinson was draft eligible last year he easily would have been the first RB off the board. With that said I'm not drafting a RB in the first round when we already have a stable. Hall suffered the same injury as Barkley and is already ahead of schedule. I'll wait until free agency plays out before I make a decision. We still have a ton of needs.

Don’t we need more/better OL? That's the big question. I've never in my life seen more injuries to an offensive line. We were playing off the couch street agents at RT and LT.

The jets have Breece already. We don’t need a 1st rd RB. They need an LB and/ or an OT or i wouldn’t mind them drafting a top end WR if one is there when they pick. With the way things r now, these losers could use a QB (unless they get Rodgers). Wouldn’t be upset if they took someone like Levis, stroud or young if they fell a little either or if they traded up. Should be interesting tho. They’ll prob fuck it up beyond belief when the time comes tho. 😂😂😂

Jeremiah or McShay said they only had 14 guys with a 1st round grade. Initially I wanted a WR in the first but I haven't read about a can't miss guy. I'd rather see if the new QB can salvage Moore and Mims and Robinson... who also has great hands. Plus he can block. You could get really creative with him and Hall in the backfield. Imagine if Douglas could slide back to around 20, pick up some more draft capital and still grab Robinson? Then you can grab your LB.

We still have Carter and Knight...put them behind a line that isn't starting a 5th string RT or a 4th string LT and they'll be fine. Bigger fish to fry with this roster.

Something must be done with the Qb role. ZW is not an NFL Qb. Other than that, Oline needs to be a priority. It was a pretty glaring weakness last year. We had the #4 D. If we can keep a competent Qb standing and open a few holes for the Rb's, we will win more often than not.

Hey, certainly wouldn’t go into camp relying on him, but I saw a picture of Becton yesterday, and he looked like he was in great shape.

Need a QB and OL in free agency. If that happens then we can go best player available in the draft. Oline depth, another WR on O and LB , S on D.
