Agree Hackett comes across too fanboy, but I was kind of impressed that Saleh feels legit as a coach that connects with players -- even if he looks like Nosferatu with a tan. Rodgers is still Rodgers. Zach looks like he's on the upswing. Def fun to watch even if there's too much Liev Schreiber doing his fake vocal mannerisms to sound like the guy from Frontline.

My take? Rodgers has an end-game, and is angling for a HC job. He loves the attention and knows he's not long for this. Dont expect him to finish the season. He's "helping" Zach to change the narrative of him not being a good teamate. Hackett is an annoying dooshbarg who, for some unknown reason, kook-Rodgers loves. And Salah is a cuck to celebrities. Comes off as a phony teleprompter-using inspirational quotes guy. An empty suit as we used to call useless cawps. No one is buying his act in that lockeroom. Those kids know he's full of sh*t. We are fucked. Again. My negative Jet fan take. I think you as a jaded 50+ year old ex-cop Jet Fan doesn't respond to that stuff, but players respond 100% to him I guarantee it. Doesn't necessarily make him a good HC, but players LOVE to play for him. Same team with Adam Gase still HC and Rodgers probably signs elsewhere.

Agreed about Gase and Rodgers. But not the jaded 50+ year old ex-cop Jeto Fan insinuation? I thought HK was awesome and really well done. Watched with my GF and she loved it. This is show business and, while die hard jets fans like us may think it’s a little bit fluff, it’s really made for casual fans and even non-fans. No doubt this will be the highest rated season ever and HBO is gonna milk the celebrity angle as much as possible. I heard a take on Rodgers attitude about the show from one of his teammates about how he didn’t want HK a few months ago. He said about Rodgers that “yeah, he didn’t want to do HK, but once he realized he didn’t have a choice and they were making a movie, he wanted to be the star”. 😂🔥😎 Let’s just enjoy the show and especially the season. It’s nice to be the star studded team for once. And remember, while sometimes these hyped teams fall flat on their face, there are other times they kick ass, take names and win the SB (85 Bears, Cowboys teams of the early 90s). I think we’re gonna be pretty f’in good this year so let’s f’in go!

Agreed about Gase and Rodgers. But not the jaded 50+ year old ex-cop Jet Fan insinuation? I dont, but I cant (and wont) try to change your perception. I hope I'm wrong. I just have the old "Lucy holding the football, Charlie Brown lining up for the kick" feeling. I've been conditioned I guess.

A+ for effort. Sure it will be A+++ in execution.

I kind of agree with the sentiments about Saleh and Hackett but Im not sure its a bad thing.
I think Saleh and Hackett realize its a QB league and when you got a guy like Rodgers you just let it ride. I believe we have the QB, the QB has the weapons and we have a defense that will at the very least keep us in games (I think the ceiling is much, much higher than that). Not sure what more we could ask for.
Look at Belidick since Brady left. And before he had him.
Coaching matters the most in the NFL out of all the pro sports but it still plays a much smaller role than people think.
The only thing Hack and Saleh have to do is make sure the car is gassed up, the tires are inflated and the oil isnt leaking. Sure, they might end up even fucking that up but worst case scenario is we go back to sucking.

Rodgers, even if he's now a Jet, is gonna put up points. End of story. Teams are going to have to take more risks in order to keep up compared to last year where they knew the defense would probably gas out at the end. I'm betting on A LOT more INT's this year.

Sure, they might end up even fucking that up but worst case scenario is we go back to sucking. I think our biggest issue is the brutal schedule, especially the first 6-8 weeks. If we get out of there at 4-4 or better without any crushing losses I think the team can gain momentum and pretty much run itself. If we do worse or have some bad loses then it is up to the coaches and Rodgers to step in and keep morale up so the wheels don't fall off. The way I see it On Offense we have at least a top 10 QB, a good to very good WR corps, RB depth with greatness if Hall comes back strong, very good TE depth and a questionable oline. On Defense we have an excellent DEEP Dline, OK LBs, EXCELLENT CBs and questions at Safety. On Special Teams we are finally solid with a Great kicker, consistent punter, and good returners and coverage. Now it comes down to luck, the bounce of the ball and injuries which is all you can ask for in the NFL
