Love the hussle of Ruckert. He followed Breece 60 yards downfield.

no...wilson sucks...thats y we need to bring someone in now and maybe in 2 or 3 weeks might be able to handle offense...wilson is horrible... You're missing the point; it doesn't matter if he sucks (he doesn't). What matters is that there is no one out there better suited to run the scheme than him at this point. If you improve the OL play, he improves too. I said in another post, go back and watch Rodgers' snaps. They weren't very good, and that's (mostly) on the OL. Wilson isn't going to be a world-beater, but he can be serviceable. And right now that's our best chance. how u gonna improve offensive line?...same arguement u have with a new QB...whos better suited to play OL?...and he does suck...no progression in his reads...do u ever watch his feet in the pocket...his throws, even the completions, are often(being kind) off the mark...still can't throw in the flat...i mean do you see the same thing i see?...and i've been harping about OL since the OTA's...

I've been beating the OL drum as well, for just as long if not longer. Tomlinson is clearly the weak link in the all-22 stuff I've seen so far. Bring in Tippmann, put him and McGovern in whichever position they're better suited to at this point, and roll with it. And Wilson has been throwing fine in the flats from what I've seen. Footwork is improved as well, although he still has a tendency to back-foot his throws. That said, so does Rodgers. And Wilson idolizes him, so my guess is Rodgers told him it's ok as long as he does _______, whatever that is.

Just watched the "every throw" video, couple of observations:
1) Wilson is definitely WAY more consistent in utilizing his platform in his throwing motion. 2) Conklin is a space cadet. One of the throw aways (not a smart one either), he just stands there instead of making himself a target. On the sideline pass to Lazard, he's jogging towards him, I'm guessing motioning for Lazard to come towards him so he can make a block. It's bizarre. 3) Tomlinson is consistently bad 4) The aforementioned completion to Lazard; ridiculous. He actually got his foot stepped on by AVT as he was getting set to throw it. 5) I think they are better served using MC in the screen game as opposed to Cook. 6) Bad decisions by Wilson were: throwing across his body under pressure to a covered receiver instead of throwing it away. Throwing it way too close to the sideline on the busted screen. The INT, obviously. Other than that, I thought he made good decisions and throws.

Hopefully after a week with the 1s he will be more on the same page with the O and they can make something happen. Definitely think Tippman needs to replace Tomlinson.

Luke is a bit of a homer, but I think he does a fair job of breaking down film. He liked the overall tape, pointed out the two really bad throws (INT and TD), but left out the scrambling parts I talked about.

He liked the overall tape, pointed out the two really bad throws (INT and TD), but left out the scrambling parts I talked about. 12 completions....3 interceptions...31.0 rating... He didn't have a good game. He didn't have a bad game until he was forced to play hero ball. Plenty of help getting to this overreaction Monday; OL, lackluster defense, lack of coaching adjustments, empty sets, no running to R side of line (or running at all), no 13 personnel, no chipping edge, no coverage adjustments. List goes on and on. BTW, just in case anyone is under the illusion that the OL woes were on Zach and his propensity to hold onto the ball, Dallas blitzed 5x the whole game; all the pressure/sacks was from their standard sets, with Wilson being hit usually at the top of his drop or first step out/up the pocket. Zach showed enough in the first half with the shit-sandwich above to at least take us to the bye. Nothing has changed save for our seeing the warts we weren't aware of on the rest of the team.
