Wouldn't have wanted to have a loser like that round for the past 20 years! The Jets seem to have a talent for hiring good people too early. He needed to go back to college for a while.

petey didn't get a fair chance. hess decided kotite was his guy and when he was launched from philly hess saw the chance. the sad thing is hess gave kotite the head coach plus gm position. who knows, maybe if kotite was either on or the other things would've turned out differently.

Wouldn't have wanted to have a loser like that round for the past 20 years! Tell me about it. I hated it at the time, and still do. Guy was passionate about the job. But our other dopey billionaire owner was in love with Dick Kotite. I fear that we will be here saying the same thing about Rex in the future too. Wait and see.

Hess was a moron but Petey would not not have succeeded like he is with Seattle. The Jets front office was horrible with characters like Steve Gutman, Petey was doomed from the start.

the other point is petey will always be associated with the spike game. seems like all of the recent coaches have found new and exciting ways to lose that are just embarrassing.

I wonder what Rich Kotite is up to these days? That stupid moron should go into business w/ Idzik selling loose cigarettes on staten island. Hate both of their guts. What was Hess thinking? What was Woody thinking? Two dumb owners, two horrible, franchise ruining hires. I hate them.

He isn't nearly as bad people make him out to be.
