Aikman pissed me off too. Zach was bad but I felt he was unfair even saying on the Hall fumbled pitch that Zach pitched it too softly.. That pitch was very awkward. Kind of pushed it forward. Could have been executed much better.

The team needs to grow up, but can only do so after Saleh does. I've typically been a proponent of his, but enough is enough. Putting aside the edict from the top - which, let's be real, is almost certainly happening - he needs to put his foot down and make some grown up decisions for once.
Bench Zach. Historic levels of ineptitude bringing down the entire team.
Bench all of "Rodgers" guys. Cobb, Lazard, Billy Turner, etc. There are young hungry players that simply can't be worse than them. Last time I checked, Saleh is the head coach, not Rodgers. If Rodgers can't deal with it, tough shit. Having an absurd level of loyalty to over the hill jags who were brought in only to lure Rodgers here (who lasted 4 plays anyway) is at best negligent and at worst profoundly stupid.
Strip Hackett of his play calling duties. Guy is a clown and has shown absolutely nothing other than when he has a 1st ballot HoF as his qb.

There were so many missteps in this game, the vast majority of course being on the offensive side of the ball. But even the little things like ball bounces and whatnot should've told everyone this was a loss before the final score even happened.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't think Wilson played a bad overall game. The OL is in shambles, and until the wheels really came off he wasn't in that looking at the OL instead of downfield mode. I felt he showed really good command of the offense in that "turbo" cadence hurry up package (at one point after an audible called out "fire on edge" with DB blitz). Basic QB stuff, but it was good. Holding the ball too long? Sure. But outside of GW, no separation, and the aforementioned OL issues, so objectively that has to be a consideration in that shortcoming. I didn't like two of his throws over the middle where he missed the S, and the other where he tried to get cute over the LB. Another factor is that as much as there may be a lack of confidence in him (I don't think there is on the team per se, at least to that degree), the same can hold true for him when receivers are dropping balls, failing to win routes, etc. I don't think that's an issue for him (doesn't strike me as the type), but again, a consideration.
The gameplan seemingly was pretty good, but the playcalling was disjointed to say the least. Not sure what the fix is here tbh. Bad play begets bad playcalling to a degree I would think, so...
The OL is much like Wilson; it is what it is and we are stuck with it. Shame on Douglas for not doing everything short of giving up a #1 to fix this. Specifically, the Max Mitchell experiment should end as soon as possible. I don't care he never played OG, he's not a starter. Turner is awful. Start the OT we drafted if healthy, can't be any worse.
The WR room is underwhelming. GW is excellent. Lazard last night was.....oooof. Again, shame on Douglas for not upgrading it, INCLUDING giving up high draft capital.
The penalties are debilitating. Aikman and Luke Grant from PLAJ are right. This team is not nearly good enough to overcome more than they are being asked to, which are the aforementioned marginal (at best) QB play, underwhelming OL and receiver groups, inconsistent play calling, and in the case of last night, negative turnover differentials. The penalties, the fundamentals, those are supposed to be correctable issues by the CS. Let's see if they can do that much.

Beat by a punt return for a TD. Could have pulled the starting offense for LA in the first quarter. Everyone knew this was the shit show we were in for once discount dbl check went down in the first drive of the season. jets had 57 minutes to overcome a 7 point deficit, and couldn’t do it. LMFAO

another prime time debacle. Hell even if that game was at 1pm it would have sucked. Will Woody wait until Raiders loss to fire people?

I would also like to see easy quick screen audibles when a CB is 10 yards off Garrett. Don't know if they let him check in and out of plays.

I completely changed my opinion on Rodgers since he got here as he's been the best leader I've ever seen on a team, but he can go suck a dick with all the buddies he wanted us to go get for him:
Turner Lazard Cobb Cook
and to a lesser degree Hacket, but time is running out on him too. Statistically worse than the putrid offense we had last year.

Statistically worse than the putrid offense we had last year. There's been a nagging part of me feeling like we're being held hostage by a preening, calculating primadonna in Rodgers. He overshadows the whole organization, the HC...without having done ANYTHING to help us yet. Lets not forget he held on to the ball to cause his own injury in the little action he actually did see. The whole Zach Wilson melt-down plays into his scheme, with everyone fawning over his return as savior and he's milking it. I think we will rue the day we brought him aboard as it stalled us when we should have been figuring out the long term solutions on Offense. Desperate for something positive, we fell for it. Charlie fuck'n Brown, and Lucy pulls the ball back.
