The downfall was he was a 50 million dollar investment and the organization did very little to see ahead and not reinforce their investment with the aged OL and lack of talent right in front of them. I never thought Sanchez was the type of Qb that would put the team on his back and grab a Lombardi while doing so, but I did think he had what it takes and could be part of a team that could win a SB collectively. Sanchez put in an above average, workman-like effort I thought. Made some really nice throws and runs. More importantly, made very few mistakes. Best thing I saw, something I can't ever remember seeing while he was here, was him ripping into Cooper(?) for an apparent missed assignment that caused them to call a TO. Yep! But I think like most of this team has started to become, they seem hopeless at this point. The Offense been hopeless for years now. Only explanation.
