The irony of talking about Jets obsession as you post on a Jets site while your team is going to the Super Bowl! LOLz!!!!!!!!! Also, a) it was your usual boring press conference of generic answers (of which I watched the whole thing) and b) Jets fans? It's the whole sports world dummy! It is absolutely on fire on every sports show and getting millions and millions of tweets on twatter. Stop being obsessed with Jets fans. It's weirder than Jets fans being obsessed with the Deflatriots. There are two weeks between the CCGs and the Super Bowl. Not much else to talk about other than deflated balls. And yup, it's damning for the Flats* and I don't approve of it at all. I would approve a BB suspension and loss of draft picks. But wouldn't you give a ton to be worrying about your team's perception while playing in the SB than where your team is currently at? Of course I would. What does that have to do with anything you said? I can promise you this, though. If/when it happens I wouldn't be concerned with the Patriots message board or their perception of the Jets. When we beat the Pats in the playoffs I made exactly zero visits to Patriots forums and spent exactly 0 seconds caring about what they thought about us. Somehow many Patriots fans have obtained this attitude that because their team is better somehow they are better fans. Who gets a superiority complex from rooting for a team for which you've never played a snap? Also, of course every Patriots thread is huge...they are the ones that get filled with Patriots fans that fuel the fire and keep them going. |
