He shoulda been back last year. Fuck you, Idzik!!! Yes. I firmly believe the Jets open the season 3-0 if Cro is holding down one CB spot. Not far-fetched when you think about how those games played out. I mean, if he's to return, it really works out for the best. Not signing him was one of the mis-steps that got Idzik fired, but it gives Cro some insight in the new HCs def. Could be a great fit. Here's hoping.

We would have beat GB.....maybe Chi(Geno cost us that game the most IMO) so 2-1 or 3-0 going into the Lions game maybe makes it a diff season..... who cares now though.........

We wouldn't have gotten very far and we might still fuckin have Izdik! And after seeing Rex's crazy moves in Buffalo, I'm really happy we have Bowles.

So everyone just forgot how much he sucked donkey ballz his last year here?
He had a much better year this year, so I'm Ok with bringing him back, just not expecting anything mind blowing.

Nobody forgot that, but everyone did know it was that hip injury. He would have hands down been the best by far and may end up being the best CB next year for us. Not mind blowing but he should at least be competent which would be a huge step up.

This is the most logical signing we'll have all offseason - goes from the Jets and Rex's defense, to Arizona and Bowles defense, back to the Jets and Bowles defense! Make it happen!

And when you consider that he's more of an athlete than a technique guy, an injury that affects his athleticism is more impactful then it would be for a guy who relies more on technique.

After how he went from having his best season ever to his worst season ever it wasn't unreasonable to believe the guy wouldn't be the same after the injury. Hip injuries aren't something you fix with a few weeks of rest. So letting him loose was not the worst decision. Had McDougle and Milliner not been injured early in the season then maybe the release looks better. In hindsight it sure seems like an awful move. On the other hand, maybe he played harder for AZ because he felt like his career was in peril after his 2013 play and getting cut. If he stayed here then maybe he doesn't push himself to get back to the old Cro.
I think it makes a lot of sense to bring him back. Performance looked good last year and he's been in both systems to be able to talk up both coaches and be an excellent bridge between the old and new. I never thought I would consider Cro a team leader but that's one issue I'm happy to be wrong about.

If it's a 2-3 year deal at around $3-4 million per, then I'm all for it.
Would be ideal to bring in Cro in addition to a guy like Byron Maxwell or Kareem Jackson.
I wouldn't want to rely on Milliner/McDougle being heavy contributors from Day 1.

Usually I'm not a fan of retreads, but with the right contract, I agree bring him back home. After last season, hell, I could of played DB and probably would of got to start a game or two.
