The two interceptions he threw were significant losses for the pats offense, particularly the one he threw in the red zone. Without those interceptions the game could have easily been a blowout for the pats. With the interceptions the game came down to the last few seconds and a probable loss had Seattle not made such a stupid play call. I don't see how Brady was the MVP in the game.
If anything, Carroll or Bevell should have been awarded the MVP on behalf of NE.
But I guess if you need to show how vindicated you feel after the victory you have to give the highest individual award to your cheating QB.

Brady wasn't very good but the QB almost always gets it.

I think Edleman should have won it. Agreed. He was giving the Seattle secondary fits.

Look, I'm no Pats/Brady fan, but you can't take anything away from the way Brady played yesterday. Other than two throws, he played about as perfect as anybody.
This ESPN blip says it all: "Brady completed 37 of 50 passes for 328 yards with four touchdown passes, each to a different receiver, including an 8-for-8, 65-yard bit of perfection on the drive that led to the go-ahead score with about 2 minutes left Sunday night."
How about we develop a QB who comes even close to that?
For the record, I wanted Edelman to get the award. The fuckin' kid is unreal. Kerley should spend the off season with Edelman and emulate his training/studying routine.

13/15 with 2 TDs in the 4th quarter.
And when was the last time Seattle's defense allowed 4 passing TDs?

13/15 with 2 TDs in the 4th quarter. And when was the last time Seattle's defense allowed 4 passing TDs? Brady was very surgical. Plus, New England's receivers and Vereen were just too quick off the ball. McDaniel's game plan left the "legion of boom" without any pop.

"Am I the only one who thinks awarding SparklePony the MVP was nuts"
I think SparklePony being in the Superbowl was NUTS(see DeflateGate).
What a joke of a league.
If the Jets didn't exist, I wouldn't be watching NFL football AT ALL.

If Seattle scores on that final drive and people talk about how that game was won, those two ints would be the reason why. The only reason NE won yesterday was that stupid play. IMO you can't say the player who almost cost you the game is your most valuable player. I agree that he had a good game outside of those ints but I don't see why you overlook the ints.
