I'm trying to imagine just cutting myself off from something that has been as important to me as the NY Jets. It really proves that everything you hear from pros, coaches, players, or others, is all bullshit. They don't have the love for the organization that we as dumbass fans do, this new NFL really leaves me reevaluating my commitments, financial and emotional to the team.
If the Jets were ever as important to Rex as he claims why would he change his tat? Because he got fired, he should be mature enough to realize that Woody probably didn't want to let him go but that a change was needed for the good of both the franchise and his own future in the business.

If you found a black sweater vest with a NYJ logo on it that you could fashion into a tent, you probably found a Rex original. Only if one can use the spokes from the asterisks on your super bowl wins as tent poles.

I don't see a reason to be angry about this as a Jets fan. Lots of people are fiercely loyal to their employers but after getting fired lose that loyalty in a hurry. There also has to be a pretty bad taste in his mouth, and not just from feet, over the last year. He wasn't just fired after a bad year, he suffered through working under a GM who failed to build a competitive team, had one of the worst QBs forced onto him and had to sit and watch while Idzik pursued other coaching options through the season behind Rex's back. We may not have loved Rex last season but if you were in his position you would be just as pissed.

Only difference is that the Jets now appear to have a competent front office and coaching staff. Rex went to Buffalo solely for personal reasons. If he really wanted to win, he would have taken the ATL job or accepted a DC gig with another contender. All Rex cares about at this point is getting revenge against the Jets and settling unfinished business with Belidick and New England. His brand and personal vendettas are more important to him than his W/L record.

Seriously, I think someone gave Rex a shiner there. Probably his wife - caught him checking out another woman's feet. Explains the tat refresh too - he looks like a man who is doing that under duress, to keep the missus happy.

So to sum up....Rex came in proclaiming he would not be kissin Billy's rings, takes pride that he runs New England as close as anybody, yet always had to settle for 2nd place and a reputation as a clown. He has told us over and over what a great coach he is and how we should take him seriously. It now appears he's sold Bills fans the same regurgitated spiel he sold us for 6 years? Now comes the icing on the cake, in 2 images it's easy to sum this turkey neck joke up.While Bill and SparklePony are doin this........ Rex the clown is doing this....... Anybody miss him yet?
