Seems like the Jets are getting zero respect these days, and I'm not sure why. We are loaded up front on D, decent receivers and running game. The big piece of course is QB and secondary, but if we can grab a decent QB via FA or draft, and grab a CB or two as well, do you think there's a way we can slide into a WC and make a deep run? Because we stink. We are one of the worst teams in the NFL. No QB, TE who can't catch, old RBs, not very good WRs, no CBs, no nothin' except front D. That's it. We are just terrible, horrible, and pathetic. Now, alot can change through FA and the draft, but we need A LOT of players. LOL this is the most S.O.J.F. post I've ever seen.

There's a reason the Jets get zero respect. Right now, they aren't a very good team. I think a lot of planets have to align for the Jets to make the playoffs this year. Sure, it could happen, and I hope it does, but I don't think it's prudent to expect it.

This Jets franchise is the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL.
As mentioned already, we have to see what happens in FA, we could be good, time will tell.

Now saying Ivory and Powell are old? Its easy to to just whine without thinking

It is generally true that things look up immediately following a coaching change. There are a number of reasons. Among these is the fact that the new coach often excels in the area that was a weakness for his predecessor. The honeymoon period retains the influence of the old and gains the influence of the new guy.
To me the biggest uncertainty is what we have in Milliner and McDougle and whether either of these guys can stay on the field long enough. Current injury history not only impedes the ability to judge their potential, but also postpones their development (possibly a permanent detriment).
I expect better than four wins, as this past year was an anomaly of injury. How much better is wide open because we have lots of cap room and a reasonable number of draft picks.
I will say that I believe the definition of a healthy management contains a dynamic tension. Mac shouls select personnel with a long term vision. Bowles should try to win now with whoever he has available.

Ithink with both sides of the ball having to learn new systems and terminology might hinder our chances alittle making a playoff push. Also the lack of playmakers we dont have!Honestly i think we our not to far off.As i look at it we lost alot of close games but our coaching staff never made adjustments during games which makes me think they played a big part of the problem losing those close games oh and having a qb who throws multiple picks doesnt help either imo this is a make or break year for geno u haffta give a qb at least 3 seasons to see if he is going to take it to the next level. But if we can sure up the Oline, get an all around complete WR on the outside, get faster at the line'bker postion, and definitly sure up the back end because i literaly think we can not bank on Milliner or Mcdougle.Milliner is NOT a reliable option hurt wayy too much!Mcdougle has to get a fair shot to compete.Landry has to go and Pryor well the jury is still out on him.So if we can sure up these things in the offseason which seems to be a tall order that the GM&Coach will have to address. But imo i think we can be an above a.500 team with a shot at making the playoffs.
