Slow us there Ghostrider, you'll still get someone smashed to fuckall with a bat. As us old Marvel Comics fans have long had to deal with, TV/Movies ain't your fucking precious hipster comic books. They're gonna do what TV do, keep alive the fuckers fans care about. Because fucking rating and shit man. Want to see Glenn's eye popped out whilst his brain is crushed, go re-read the comic. You were saying? If I recall, I was saying how right you are how stupid I am. Sound about right?

I think he nailed the role of the depraved, yet somehow charismatic villain that he is in the comics. Many of us were pissed that they cheaped out with the cliffhanger at the end of last season...but goddamn was it ever worth it. I guess my point was--and I don't read the comics--it seemed like supreme overacting on his part. And how many times did we need to see the eeny meeny miney moe rif. Honestly, he kind of bored me. _ Agreed. Some scenes were long winded. Otherwise pretty fuckin badass.

Neegan's teeth are too white. They must have run out of toothepaste by now.
That's what I was thinking about during his monologues.
Just sayin.

The season premiere was refreshing. I had become kind of bored of the show, but Negan has re-invigorated my interest. So far, so good.

I thought it was awesome. I will say, the folks that just watch for the zombie killing, will have to hang in there in the early eps of season 7 - theres going to be a lot of establishing Negan, the Kingdom, Maggie giving birth at Hilltop, etc. It may be a slow build through the season, but the payoff should be worth it.

What would be the point of watching that for 7 seasons? I think what's intriguing about the show is that it starts out as survival vs zombies, then turns into survival vs humans.

The show isn't in France, there is plenty of toothpaste to go around. Zombies don't brush and there are a hand full of people left in the world. Toothpaste doesn't expire like food does.

Im with you - but just you wait, by Ep 3 or so, there will be people posting in this thread that there's not enough action and zombie killing. It happens every time!

This show is about human nature with zombies as a backdrop. After this long, if you're human and alive that means you have a sustainable life support system (food, supplies, weapons, medicine..) which creates envy. Last episode from season 6 and this episode are great for that (minus lousy cliffhanger) where the gang realizes just how outnumbered they are.

As someone who hasn't read the comics, how much time has passed since the original episode. I'm assuming we're going on 4-5 years now, right?
