No decision needs to be made on Percy until March 19 -- the date the compensation to Seattle changes from a 6th rounder to 4th. Decision probably will not be made until after free agency starts.

vick did relatively well? relative to whom? geno? the bottom line is the jets could've used a spark from the qb position and vick didn't provide it. as it turned out, they may as well have thrown simms in.

Yup. I'll never forget the game where Vick went in and looked like he'd never seen a football, let alone our playbook. Most of the blame goes to Rex and Morningdick, two schmucks who allowed Vick to coast. My only wish is that Geno would accompany Vick and Johnson out the door. Ah, guess we'll just have to wait until the end of training camp or next season when Geno is cut and out of the NFL.

Percy will likely be a cut and attempt to re-sign/re-structure, not at all the highest priority though - probably depends a lot on if we manage to sign any other high profile WRs before the 19th. We'll have 9 days from the start of FA on March 10, definitely possible. Not sure why everyone is so eager to get rid of him if we can get him relatively cheap - imagine something like DT/Crabtree, Decker, Harvin, Kerley, Amaro...yikes.

Johnson has had it and it looked like that lazy, unprepared Vick didn't give two shits about anything. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way to the parking lot.

He'll be on the roster at least until mid-March when FA starts and the Jets look to replace him. If they acquire someone who can at least be a solid #2 caliber WR then I think they cut him prior to March 19th so they can retain their 4th round pick and instead only give up the 6th rounder to Seattle. If FA passes the Jets by at WR then my guess is they keep him and suck up the $10.5M for this season since they have the Cap room to absorb it.

Absolutely nothing til after Free Agency starts so his price and leverage can come down to a manageable level.

Not sure he gets cut, I think they feel they could use him for many years to come, especially to either bring a rooky QB up to speed or enhance a vet. Verry rare for a receiver to come out of the draft and play to the caliber Harvin can and will. Harvin is versatile and fills holes a couple ways such as kick returns. I think they look at it as, hey, he is a steel at #4. I think the Jets know they need to keep what works right now and fix the big problems, QB, CB, fixing CB helps the Safeties I feel but still needs work and O line help, I am sure I missed one or two. Just my thoughts

Talk about a tease. Saw a headline this morning that "Jets, Johnson parting ways". Devastated to hear that didn't mean Woody.
