I'm hating Idzik more and more. He meddled in getting Sanchez hurt in the Snoopy Bowl, he meddled with forcing Rex to play Geno, and now this? I wonder what he is doing right now at this very minute. Hopefully reading this. IdsuckSome of us knew so from the start!Give yourself a pat on the back. Just don't fall over from doing it too hard.

It's ridiculous to entertain the idea that Idzik controlled playing time. Especially when Rex had the owner's favor and the GM was not particularly outspoken or forceful. And especially when other "Rex guys" got more than their fair share of playing time, over Idzik's draft picks. Instead, this is a case of Rex overhyping a player when trying to sell him on playing here, said player not actually being that good, and Rex rightfully taking away playing time. Except it was widely reported and sounded true given Rex's comments, that Idzik forced the CS to play Geno over Vick. It's entirely possible that this true

Maybe if CJ could actually catch the ball like he was expected to he would have had a bigger role. Of course he will say it was some sort of a conspiracy against him by the outgoing GM, because the alternative is that he is now just an aging complimentary RB on the downside of his career. It's not like CJ was already here before Idzik was hired, Idzik signed CJ as a FA. So after signing him Idzik all of sudden told the coaches to limit his touches and role? It's just sour grapes from an aging RB that needs to find a job now.

I'll be clear. I think Idzik was a dumb fuck and this wouldn't surprise me at all. But this sounds like a lot of sour grapes from CJ no K. Guy seems to run his mouth and not be able to back it up.

Fuck both of these no-marks, playing time is earned through your current production, not your name or past achievments. Pair of deluded entitled twats.

I think the truth lies in the middle. Idzik was meddling way too much and sabotaged Rex. It felt like that from the get go. But Chris Johnson was also pretty terrible on a lot of his runs and when you're running a two headed system with Chris Ivory it's not hard to see they were going with a hot hand approach. That being said I feel like CJ didn't get enough carries and that they went away from the run way too much or were too predictable with him. He definitely should have had a larger role. I think he needs to be honest when he says it wasn't him being outplayed because there were countless times where Ivory was finding the holes and getting the tough yards when CJ was getting blown up at the line. Not sure where that fault lies but when it's in the same game I'm going to say that CJ didn't get in sync with the line and it's not surprising because we never had a running back with that kind of explosiveness. They are used to blocking for the barreling backs.
None the less, good riddance to all involved. You want to hear a guy with a legitimate complaint? Talk to Bilal Powell. He didn't even do anything wrong and he went from starting RB to 3rd RB and he happened to be the most complete RB on the team IMO.

His touches went down because he wasn't producing and Ivory was, he just doesn't have the same pop and can't break tackles.
CJ wants carries even when he's not producing, he's in decline and as usual with athletes it's easier to blame someone else than face reality.
