Oh yes. I fucking love it. Would pretty much take a minor miracle for this to not happen. Fuck Raiders fans and FUCK San Diego. A rendering of the new NFL football stadium proposed for Carson by the owners of the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders. (Manica Architecture) www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-nfl-stadium-20150220-story.html#page=1buh bye!!! Wow, that's pretty horrible looking. That "enclosure" is not enclosing the entire field, and doesn't touch the ground? It can't actually sit up on pillars like that can it? looks offset at an angle and as though people could run off the street and onto the field?!?! Are those the box seats? Looks like there are normal seats on the opposite side of the stadium. WTF? Maybe it is a transformer and it will fly to Oakland and San Diego for games.

Something is definitely unresolved with the perspective there. Maybe the architectural office that designed it couldn't afford the experienced guy who knew 3-D CAD rendering. That thing could never be supported on those 'columns' - there is way too much cantilever at the corner there, and those "box seats" (?) are at some weird angle that don't properly end anywhere. This must have been slapped together last minute for presentation. What a mess.

Not sure how that aligns with the picture above though since there isn't anyway to see the field under the box area.

OK that explains the idea a little better of what they're trying to accomplish but the front view and back view definitely don't align as you point out you wouldn't be able to see the field from the opposite side the way the first rendering shows. It looks like it's just a more enclosed area, a roof basically, for the special people though they haven't figured out yet how people will get up and down as there doesn't seem to be any "vertical transportation". And on the opposite side the bleacher is so vertical I was going to say you'd have to be standing to be there, and lo and behold in the foreground, all the people are standing!

It is now said that sitting for prolonged periods of time is bad for you so it will be standing room only and positioning will be based on height.
