Cobbs floor will be 8mill+ (and that's if he gave a hometown discount for Green Bay ) his ceiling might be well over $10 million. A team like Oakland is as bad maybe worse & needy at wide receiver than we are & will have more cap room then us after a few more cuts. plus their GM used to be in Green Bay's front office.
that's a lot of scratch for a player that's not even the number one receiver on his team plays with Great supporting cast ,great system With an all world QB throwing him the ball. unfortunately we can't copy and paste Cobbs numbers to the Jets.
No one is saying Cobb isnt a good player,I would love to have him ,but I just don't see a connection why would he come here other then we outspend for him.

Well I guess we will see what happens when the FA period begins. All you guys do make valid points but I think Cobb can be had for 9 million a year coming to play for the bright lights of NY, with a head coach that people love playing for, and a team that sorely needs a playmaker on the offense.

Why would Cobb go from Rodgers to Geno? Too bad he doesn't have a fame whoring wife who wants to be in NY
