McCoy's best years are behind him. Kinko's are in front of him. That's really the bottom line of this trade, a typical Rex move. Great trade by fellow Jets fan Howie Roseman. McCoy is 26 years old I'd love to be hearing Philly sports radio right now. The announcers all call him "Shady" when talking to him, like he's their BFF/brother

Kelly is, effectively, the GM now. There was a bit of a power struggle last year and he came out on top. He has final say on all personnel decisions. And trading for Alonso screams Kelly. Agreed, Kelly doesn't value any RB to pay them 10M per year, and he coached Kiko in college. Good move for the Eagles.

Pretty much There were plenty of people who thought that Alonzo should've won DROY instead of Richardson in 2013. The kid is already one of the better cover LB's in the league and always seems to make the big play. And I imagine he's fully cleared medically if the Eagles made this move. And I'm not sure why anyone would be nervous about McCoy in the division when we've totally shutdown like 98% of the RB's we've faced over the last 2 years.

Seems like a really bad fit to me.

WHat does that mean for The Jets? David Harris is a Jill....Book it Which clears the way for us to take someone like McKinney, Perriman, or Kendricks in the 2nd round. Cool with me

Surprise jets are sitting on their laurels doing nothing while Rex and the Bills continue to improve.
The jets need to make a big move and quick or else they are going to be a MASSIVE circus next year.

Rex and Co already mortgaging the future for a piece past their prime. U know it! Trying to sneak in the playoffs one of these years after a 10 year drought or whatever) and then take bows like they won a championship.

Kind of like this move more from our perspective the more I think about it. Not worried about our run defense vs anyone and good to have Kiko out of the division. Good trade either way but Eagles definitely win out in the long run with this.
Not that there was much of a chance he'd resign but this also bumps up our chances of landing Spiller.

Are you gonna cry when Rex makes the Jets call him daddy this year? Because that's exactly what's going to happen if we continue at this rate.
