if this is true, it makes the Harris signing more questionable; unless the LBs the played more than 50% of the snaps were ILBs, then it makes perfect sense.

From what I've heard is that Bowles plans to use Harris as a blitzer a lot more. He did have 4.5 sacks last year and he didn't blitz much. He's not fast but a lot about being a blitzing LB is being instinctive as well. Bowles did blitz over 50% of the time last year in Arizona. Believe it or not he is much more aggressive than Rex is. And I think we'll see Pryor up closer to the line where he should be almost as a Safety/LB hybrid blitzing. It's going to be fun. |

Expect Couples to be in the dline rotation this year - Mo, Sheldon, Snacks, Coples, TJ, maybe Ellis and use Babin as DE on passing downs. |

Might also have a lot of 3 Safety looks with Pryor and Allen playing SS/LB hybrids. Just need to get a Free Safety to play center field. Don't think he's on roster yet; Jarrett is not the ideal guy, but I guess if he's the only weak link, not so bad.

Vic Beasley would complete this defense's elite status. If the plan is to play 3 corners as their base D, then Beasley may not be best fit. In that scenario Beasley would be functioning as a traditional DE with his hand in the dirt most of the time, not sure that's a great fit for Vic. |
