I'll have no idea what to do but why not, it'll help to get it going with am extra body You pick a team or two and act as the GM for that team and we go through the draft as if it was the real thing. If Idzik could do it for real, we can handle a fake one.

I'm assuming trade ups/downs are allowed? Negotiations via PM?

I'm assuming trade ups/downs are allowed? Negotiations via PM? That is how it was done in the past but must be approved by the commissioner. Sucks that I'm going too miss it this year.....good luck to all going forward. It's tons of fun especially when looking for later round gems.

I like the idea of trades -- picks only no players. I think it makes it more realistic -- if you don't like the options at your pick, you can try to trade back. More realistic to me than taking a guy like Brandon Scherff number 1 overall.
Up to 14 now with Paradis and sadface.

If I remember correctly there was only one that was semi questionable.

We will see if I am willing to go anywhere near it next year after trying to organize it this year. Naturally, we gain some traction over here the day after the mock starts on the other site where I have two teams.

IMO Trades make little sense....what I think this or any mock draft is intended to list the players in order to where they are drafted
Are we going to trade future picks to make the deals work? Because in most cases, teams trade future picks, in future years

Because in most cases, teams trade future picks, in future years These kind of mocks and even the 'experts' include trades in their mock drafts all the time - keep it to picks within this year, no players involved, have some common sense. I see where you're coming from but it's pretty normal for mocks to have them.

However, if the majority of the people doing this do not want trades, then we can do it without.
