The NFL made a mistake moving the draft. Part of the allure was coming to Manhattan. Who the eff wants to go to Chicago in late April? Chicago is an awesome town. Fun as hell. Manhattan is full of a bunch of cleft buttholes. To each their own, but I would think the type of football fan that goes to the draft would have plenty of fun in Chicago. I think it's cool that they're trying another city, Chicago is a great choice.

I wonder if the Bears fans can boo as loudly as we do. 1) No one boos as loudly as ppl from NY/NJ. It's a matter of pride around here. 2) How loud will they cheer if they announce: The Bears have made a trade with..., trade Cutler to move up in draft position.

Sweetness Simulator: Interactive design where fans enter a wind tunnel skydive simulator to float in the air in a tribute to Chicago Bears Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton. Say what now?

Draft Town - gay Selection Square - also gay Combine Corner - really gay Sweetness Simulator - seriously, wtf? Who the fuck named these? They sound like levels to a children's video game. Combine Corner? Can't believe nobody thought of "Corner Corner".

Free use of the Auditorium Theatre and other Roosevelt University facilities. Seriously, NFL? You rich fucking assholes can't pay for anything? Typical. I'm just surprised that they didn't pull the Super Bowl halftime stunt. You know, the one where YOU pay THEM to come and shut down your streets and use your facilities.

Not even the guests of honor want to show up for this thing. 26 players? Not even enough for one round.

Not even the guests of honor want to show up for this thing. 26 players? Not even enough for one round. They shouldn't even have a fraction of that. They should just go back to 5-6 players as they used to. 5 or 6 guys that are basically guaranteed to go within the first 15-20 picks. The list of players that they have is ridiculous and could easily continue into the 3rd day. Cedric Ogbuehi? Donovan Smith? It's not out of this world at all to think that these guys could still be available into the 3rd round and even beyond. But ESPN LOVES the opportunity to increase their ratings above and beyond. This shit has really kicked into effect ever since Aaron Rodgers experienced his landslide back in '05.

Yeah they REALLY screwed up? How does that stack up to lotteries from previous years?

Yeah they REALLY screwed up? How does that stack up to lotteries from previous years? I don't think they have done a lottery in the past. When it was at Radio City, I am pretty sure they gave out wristbands starting the day before the draft on a first com first serve basis. I dont think there is anything to compare it to. For what its worth, I am one of the 71,000 that applied this year. Not sure I would have gone even if my name had been drawn.

Yeah they REALLY screwed up? How does that stack up to lotteries from previous years? As Lithfan said, I think this is the first time for this. My post was more to show that it likely isn't impacting the interest negatively at least. Not sure why there were 4 question marks in my post either, I must have asleep at the wheel.

Was there ever a ticket price to pay to attend in the past?
