Beards remind me of that Boston Strung-Out theme. Well... really, the Boston ones are all pubey neckbeards. Not a good full wood chopping beard like that.

Depending on who we draft, I think fitz will start. Probably our best shot at 9-7, 10-6. I don't know, might be too much Fitz love here. We're talking about a guy who's never won more games than he's lost in a given season. Geno got us to 8-8 with literally no one to throw to and an average running game...Fitz has never won more than 6 games in a season. If the Jets don't draft a QB, I think Geno wins the competition easily. Unless Bowles decides to incorporate advanced microeconomics in the play-calling methodology, at which point Fitz might have a leg up.

I'll be honest, I'm not enthused about any QB currently on the Jets roster. Fitz may have an advantage because he has played in Galey's system before. Geno definitely has an athletic advantage. If Fitz starts, the writing may be on the wall for Geno, unless Fitz falters, and Geno comes in and performs. I really don't know what to expect.

The Jets were scored 13 passing TDs that seasons - dead last. The next lowest team had 16. On the other hand, they had the 6th most rushing yards in the league.
Geno can have credit for the ATL game and maybe one or two others but the rest of the wins were because he simply didn't suck as badly.

Both Mac/Bowles have said that you don't need a FRANCHISE QB to do damage/make noise. It's their mantra; our confusion as fans is tough ships on us. Glad not to have a coach that "manages" the off season expectations.

That's troubling, there's a big difference from making noise, and building a championship team. Rex made a lot of noise going to the AFC Championship game in back to back years, and I was excited about that, thinking the Jets would be able to take the next step. Instead, he got rid of proven steady players like Jericho C, and others retired like Fanica, and the team moved in reverse after bringing on washed up, or downgrades as replacements, and malcontents like Tone.

I think that's the direction; developing a close knit; non talking; cross that bridge when I get to it type of head coach and team.
I assume they are working on northeast tactics; ball control being the foundation.
- How will they take advantage of Geno's athleticism?
- What can Fitzy do with limited reps?

I always was relieved when the Jets faced the Bills with Fitz at QB. Total non-fear factor.

Wow, he seems like a really indecisive guy, not good for a QB

Probably pretty much how 31 other teams feel when facing Geno. I wonder if Ray Lucas is still in shape?

Is he sitting on a bench and doing squats? Maybe cause of the broken leg? lol Seriously. Why is Stevie Wonder walking around with those glasses?
