The trade down is looking a lot better than it did a few hours ago. They could have had Harold but looks like they didn't want him and were willing to wait a few spots to get their guy Maudlin. And now we have a 5th round Brandon Marshall pick back. Would be great if they could package a few of those 7th rounders to get back our Perchy Harvin 6th rounder as well.

I like what Mac did with his old team to procure us those late round picks.

Buck Allen would be nice value here in the 4th. That would give the Jets 4 day one contributors in their first 4 picks, not too bad.

Some nice 4th round options with the 5th pick:
OLine TJ Clemmings Tyrus Thompson Tre Jackson Daryl Williams
RB: Jay Ajayi Jeremy Langford Buck Allen
Would prefer OL with this next pick, but would not complain about RB. Shocked to see Clemmings still on the board on day 3 -- foot injury must be worrying teams a lot more than expected.

Totally forgot about Langford, he has been overlooked by many in this draft process. Good back, faster than you would think. I love Allen here though, big back that could be the best pass catching RB in this draft.

Something must seriously be wrong with Ajayi's knee.
Otherwise, you could easily make the argument that he's the 3rd best back in this class.

Would not complain about either of the RBs, but given the DL that have come into our Division this offseason, I would prefer to upgrade the OL. In addition to Suh, Malcom Brown to the Pats on Thursday and Jordan Phillips to Miami yesterday. Gonna be a lot pf pressure on the OL.

I'm thinking this is where the Jets take a kid like Petty or Hundley.
And at this stage, I'd have no problem with it.
All the talk about taking one of these guys in Round 2 was ridiculous.

Totally forgot about Langford, he has been overlooked by many in this draft process. Same here. I don't know how I forgot about him and would love a Langford pick here or OLine.

This isn't a bad spot to take Clemmings if the Jets like him.
