If that's the case, I'm expecting coal. Brady $50,000 fine, Kraft and Beliballs $100,000. Loss of 4th round pick.

IMO if its not a year or possibley banned for life then i dont see a point to even bother lol. I think the have to hit him with 12-16 games to look like they're doing the right thing. Then he appeals and the league "reluctantly agrees" to drop it to 6-8 games because of the arbitrator's ruling.

They better suspend Belicheat too for the same reasons that Payton and McKay were suspended... "it happened under their watch, they should have known, etc."

No one is getting suspended. That's crazy-talk. League hands out suspensions like candy these days - I suspect Brady gets 6-8 games. . .

Expecting anything more than a 2 game suspension is wishful thinking.
If it was up to me?
Lifetime ban and immediate castration with a rusty butter knife

You guys are missing the point. League isn't giving Brady a 1-gm suspension that he can semi blow-off and say 'Look, it was no big deal." League wants him to knuckle under and have to apologize to the NE fans, if even in that non-specific Giambi-BALCO way. NFL is definitely going to show who is top dog.
I don't think they want to shit-can the whole Pats season - so a one-year ban would be unlikely IMO. But they want all involved knocked down a peg.

They have to hammer The Cheater even though we know Roger doesn't want to. The precedent set otherwise would be laughable.
Cheating and then smugly denying responsibility and attacking the independent investigation that says otherwise. Consequences... reward = Super Bowl, risk = 2 game suspension and/or just a fine.
Everyone in the league would start cheating for that tradeoff.
This all went downhill after Roger failed to do his job regarding Spygate. He can't let this stand. Fix your mistake Roger.
