It won't get reduced, folks. I don't even think they'll appeal. Unless the players association does it automatically.

Honestly, it's funny that the NFL caught them cheating again, recognized that, suspended one of their player's for conduct detrimental to the league, and those trophies still won't have asterisks next to them. Yeah, funny. Ha ha ha ha ha. Hilarious. How does the NFL look itself in the mirror every morning, or go to sleep at night? > implying the NFL cares about integrity VTN, you crack me up.

Good. However, Mumbles walks through the rain drops. More annoyed about this than the measly four games.

It won't get reduced, folks. Agree. Think that's why they didn't hit him with more than a first time PED suspension.

Harsher than I thought it would be, but nowhere near as harsh as it should be.
They are repeat offenders. They should have been absolutely destroyed over this. The punishment, while substantial, is still far short of what it should have been.
And how does the Chief Belicheat escape responsibility and punishment? He should be suspended and fined a year's salary for that load of bullshit science lesson press conference if nothing else.

Cute how they don't band the cocksuckers in the organization and give a window for Goodell's boy Craft to let the losers keep their jobs.

Maybe I'm just seeing this through the eyes of a division rival but I really don't understand how a four game suspension, a small fine and a couple lost draft picks is severe enough to deter future cheating in the same vein. The fine is nothing. The team will make it back, and then some, selling Bring Back Brady shirts the first four games. The draft picks only carry so much pain because the team can trade back into those rounds if it really needs to. And a four game suspension isn't enough to seriously impair their season.
The sum total is that you can cheat to win the Super Bowl and have your primary cheater get an MVP trophy for it. I'm not surprised that the NFL didn't want to tarnish the Super Bowl but it's already tarnished. The language in the above-posted letter by the EVP rings hollow. You can't talk about the integrity of the game and let cheaters walk off with the game's biggest prize.

I'm excited to see how the Pats will do without cheating and whether it was much of an advantage at all. Hopefully they fall on their faces, but they did win the Super Bowl under the scrutiny of the refs so it probably has a minimal impact, unfortunately. Just hope the Jets can use this penalty opportunity to win the division!
