Does anyone know if this allows for full discovery? TB would have to turn over his phone and emails? I believe he is hiding something there that could be bigger than a deflated ball. What if there are texts and emails that show he and Bellicheat knew what these guy have been doing and then planned and coordinated the cover up. Without a forced full discovery he will most likely not volunteer to make it available.

They should have a penalty that if you appeal after this kinda thing and waste all of these recources and time, you get additional time tacked on your sentence.

What I meant by my answer is that if he sues the NFL he will be compelled by subpoena to turn over his phone, texts and emails which probably contain damning evidence and more widespread organizational involvement. By just appealing his suspension, he can still put up his nonsense defense without having to turn anything over. If he decides to sue, that would be a mistake IMO. |
