The numbers they were wearing in mini-camp were not the actual numbers for the season. He will be #55. Thanks. Gonna order one of those t-shirts with the team logo on the front and player's name and number on the back. The last jersey I bought was Shaun Ellis and don't think I'd get another. I usually go retired guys for jerseys. My son has a Maynard and Chrebet -- I have a Martin. Bought a Pryor last year -- think I will stick with the old guys from now on.

Yay, an article about LoZo that isn't about his freaking childhood.
Great dude with a tremendous story, but my God, how many articles about his story do we need before we get an article about him as a player? Geez, he even said that number of foster homes the media was talking about wasn't even accurate.

The old guys are always a safe bet. If someone was going to buy a current players jersey I would steer them towards Brick and Mangold. Both have been here for a decade and you get the feeling they REALLY want to retire as Jets. Not just lip service. Harris would be another one to consider.

I'm really excited for this kid to just wreak havoc on defense.

I'm really excited for this kid to just wreak havoc on defense. He also has a defense around him that is built to succeed. A great DL and strong corners can only help him in his development. He can be an 8-10 sack guy if he pans out.

When we drafted him I went back to look at some scouting reports because I wasn't very familiar with him. One thing that stuck out was when they mentioned he played tall or stood too upright rather than leaning, taking angles and leveraging. I wasn't quite sure what that meant until I watched some highlight videos but now I get it. His playing style does look a tiny bit odd compared to other guys, not that it's a bad thing because he's obviously been affective.
I'm thrilled to have this guy though. He's a gamer, that's for sure.

He can be an 8-10 sack guy if he pans out. You couldn't dream up a better situation for a rookie edge rusher to be drafted into. That also goes for any of the vets that will be lining up outside on this defense, no excuse for not producing sacks and serious pressure from the outside this year.

I know this is probably off topic but I think it is very relevant to it. I love how Mac has built this football team this off season, because it is built on fierce competition and player development. We have an elite defense line, this will help our offensive line which is somewhat of an unknown, to develop and get the best competition possible during camp and the pre-season. Guys like Winters, Aboushi and Dozier will have their work cut out for them. The same can be said about the corners and wide receivers. Marshall, Decker, Kerley, and Smith ahould provide ample competition for Revis and company and vice versa. What Mac has done so far this offseason is absolutely brilliant on paper, now its up to Bowles, the coaches and the players to execute the game plan.

You just never know what will happen with current players. Traded to another team, become busts, etc. I almost bought a Sanchez jersey in 2010. Glad I didn't.

Had to explain who he was to all of the Packers fans and then the kid plays a lame ass game to boot!!
Not giving up on him though.... he was playing out of position for the most part. Having him back at SS should help!
