Chip Kelly's bullshit is going to catch up with him soon. I get the whole totalitarian approach - but this is complete arrogance.

Why did they release him? He's actually a pretty good guard unless he had a bad year..... Kelly believing his own hype.

Chip Kelly is nuts. These guys don't grow on trees. Don't you got some kind of Philly connection? And yes, Chip Kelley has lost his damned mind. Oh,ok got it. Haven't really paid that much attention to their Oline, though. LOL

Mathis is 34yrs. old, back to back pro bowls. But he will also command a lot of money as a free agent and we do not have a whole lot of cap space left.

Read This: Over The CapWe have $6 million in cap space remaining. The article suggest you could fit him in your cap as long as you have $2 million b/c of the way the contract could be structured.

Maybe they rework somebody's deal? Yes we should've not addressed all of our needs this off-season, instead we should have kept like $20 million in cap space. That would have been a better way of handling it. Then at least we would have money for a rainy day. I hope you get the sarcasm. $6.5 million in cap space is a lot of money in the NFL b/c of way contracts are structured. But the Jets strategy was "flawed" b/c we spend a ton of money filling hole after hole and still have plenty of money left to sign Mathis if we want to. Astute observation once again.

Thanks for posting, Choon. I really thought our cap space would preclude us from bringing the guy in -- assuming Jason is right, that may not be an issue.

Astute observation once again. there have been at least three other people who've said Sheldon is the better player than Mo since your last screed towards me about that - you're seriously negligent in your scolding duties since you haven't said a word to them about how wrong they are. Or, do you just like to single things out I've said so you can argue about it? Pro tip: do yourself a favor and put me on ignore
