link These beat writers really have nothing better to write do they? Without looking I'm guessing that's a direct link to a Manish or Cimini article. Cimini has actually been bareable thusfar, Manish has been his usual self. That said, Geno has less turnovers (0ints, 1 strip fumble) than Brady or both Mannings at this point in camp. Fuck the media.

Obnoxious. Imagine the headline with the same details except that the QB is, say, Aaron Rodgers

Obnoxious. Imagine the headline with the same details except that the QB is, say, Aaron Rodgers You see it in real time when doing the update thread. Cimini hasn't been as bad this year but still, him and Manish are terrible. Don't report on anything all day, or if they do a solid 10-30min behind everyone else. The very second there's negative news both of them pounce on it up with 5 different tweets in deliberately negative or ambiguous wording. Manish had one tweet today about Genos turnover and he was so excited he made and deleted four different typos before getting it right. Don't even have to be a Geno/Jets supporter to notice it, so blatant I don't even know how these guys have jobs.

Our new coaching regime is allowing second string dlinemen to chopswat the throwing hand of our starting quarterback? In the first week of practice? That is not a good sign of intelligence or judgment.

Jets should give us Manish's credential. Manish Mehta @mmehtanydn 5h5 hours ago Geno Smith commits his first turnover in team drills this camp: Stripped by Douzable while milling around. #nyj

Geno's not great, but they kid has had a solid camp. I'm afraid if I got access to the field I'd harass Manish until he cried or I was kicked out. He constantly the last person to tweet, unless it's bad. Then he's the first.

Anybody who says the media don't matter should read the recent article that quotes Jets players as saying the negativity in the media was a big factor in hindering the 2013 and 2014 team building proper team chemistry.
This is a very real factor, and it's incredible that not enough fans have voiced enough opinion to make a difference. Luckily I live in Texas now and couldn't give a shit about what some squirrely twat (twats, + dick semen-I) in central NJ type about on their greasy phones.

Except the media was calling for Eli's benching and Coughin's firing mid-season the year the Giants beat the undefeated Pats in the SB. So, gimme a break that the media is the reason the Jets suck. When they play well, the media blows them (remember the NY Post masthead was green for a month in '98 when the Jets were making their run w/ Parcells). Same with the back-to-back AFC Championships, the media was all in. When the suck, the media in NY will absolutely kill you. But, when winning, they will kiss ass. That's life in the big city. Jets will just have to deal. But to blame the media for the Jets not winning is a pathetic excuse from the players/team.

The Jets were a MASSIVE circus between 2011-2014: Tim Tebow Rex Ryan BART SCOTT Mark Sanchez Stephen Hill Santonio Holmes Tannenbaum Idzik .... and the list goes on and on. There was plenty to criticize the Jets about. I think the NY media actually plays a very important role, in that it holds the team and the organization accountable for its mistakes. I honestly don't know if Woody - who is very PR conscious - would have facilitated the off-season turnover had Cimini and Mehta not been on the team's ass as they have been.

Boy a 2nd round bust really is a circus.
