Personally I don't think much changes I still think we compete for a playoff spot (Although winning the divison got harder) I think Fitzpatrick can hold the fort down and give us an acceptable record. Defense will keep us in just about every game and our weapons look helluv a lot better with Brandon Marshall and Decker then what Ryan and Chan had in Buffalo my pick drops to 10-6 9-7

you know what, after nearly 50 years of futility they're bound to get it right. the balls just have to start falling the right way sometime. i don't see why 12-4 can't be acheived, really. run the east and it falls into place even better. and 12-4 means they go 9-3 the rest of the way. as long as this defense plays a full game every game they will be in each one. the only thing i don't have a real feel for is if genot can actually do better than fitz on game day. we all know that genot has a good arm and fitz' is so-so but there's so much more to being a qb than arm strength. here' to hoping for success.

We really haven't had a good test so far - just wait until after the Pats* game to see if this team is real or not.

What the hell do you call that? 24-17  Their problem that day was a really poor start, but they woke up and adjusted. To be clear, the Jets outscored the Eagles 17-0 to end the game. They lost the game but it was hardly an embarrassment on the scoreboard. Two bone-headed plays cost the Jets the game....Marshall doing too much and trying to lateral, and then letting Sproles go yard on a punt return. I won't make any excuses like there was no Chris Ivory and no Eric Decker playing that game, but you need to look at details before you go spouting off about things which you know nothing about. |
