bah, i doubt it. Sanchez was no peach, but the likes Fitz and others of his breed - wouldn't have reserved us a copy of the lombardi trophy... Don't get professional game managers like Brad Johnson, or Trent Dilfer mixed up with career back ups. Alex Smith is a game manager. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a back up. Through and through. You use Alex Smith as an example which is perfect since they were drafted in same year - Smith a first rounder, Fitz a 7th I know stats don't tell the whole story but for a 1st vs 7th rounder and a 'game manager' vs a 'back up' they're pretty damn close, bizarrely close even. Near identical completion percentages and TDs, even with a 13 game advantage for Smith. Actually the only stat where Smith has a clear advantage is 25 less INTs than Fitz, which is definitely substantial. Interesting. That is pretty wild, how close they are.... i think reading between the lines tells the story of the differences however. Alex Smith is the definition of consistency. Fitzmagic giveth (on occasion) and Fitzmagic taketh (too often)... you just can't trust Fitz on any given week. Statistically, you might be able to say he's a safe bet to hold down the fort for a week, but asa we've all seen, he can implode at will. Ultimately, if he's only asked to hold it together till the bye week, then great. that's why we traded for him... but it's gotta be Geno. The last thing this franchise needs is him lighting up the league in december and putting hte jets in an awkward spot next offseason.

Geno's natural talent can help us beat better teams, but his immaturity can also cost us easy games. In the end I think our record will be the same no matter who starts, but I wanted Geno to start up because of his upside. This is why I take back writing him off for the rest of the season. He'll be ready after the bye IMO.... Sometimes getting your jaw rearranged is a great attitude adjustment/rude awakening.... I don't think he got that message....

I don't think he got that message.... The irony of this photo is unreal. Here is our irresponsible manchild QB, too immature to "drive the Porsche" he's been handed the keys to, irresponsibly taking a selfie while driving some overpriced giant-wheeled SUV monster upon which he undoubtedly pissed away a large sum of money. It's the Harvard guy or flaming disaster this year. SAR I

I don't think he got that message.... It just takes longer to sink in through bedrock. I'm not sure what it's supposed to be sinking in to. There's probably just more rock in between his ears. And to think, I thought he was supposed to be some kind of idiot savant with a photographic memory... more like just a plain old idiot with the memory of a goldfish.

After watching both of these QB's throughout their careers I am shocked by the similar stats. Neither one has been a world beater but I'm leaning more to the Paradis observation. Stats can be very misleading if you've never seen the guys play. The comparison I always come down to is Bettis versus Martin(my brother is a steelers fan). Two hall of fame backs and Curtis has even better stats. But if I want too win the big game I want Bettis toting the rock. Fitz will never lead us to a Lombardi, more than likely Geno never will also. With Fitz behind center we are relegated too even more mediocrity and that is the worst stage a franchise can find themselves in. Drafting early first round but never early enough.

I don't think he's a dumb person in regards to intellect but I do think he is an arrogant princess with a false sense of entitlement. Like when he got angry about where he got drafted and took it out on his rep at the time. And that nonsense when he jumped and stood up on the bench with his arms crossed like he was the Superbowl Champ. More like Toilet Bowl Chump. So he got mad as a 22 yr old know nothing about the NFL yet? We should hold that against him? Eli Manning made a mockery of himself on draft day... Aaron Rogers was pissed too. The kid needs to grow up, that's his biggest hurdle, but he is just 24, how about we let him grow up, and not expect it immediately?

You associated Manning and Rodgers with Geno that will be the first and last time that's done.

He is not the future of the team. In fact, at the end of this season, we may be awarding IK Enempkali with the team MVP award. SAR I

Way to try to take my point out of context, you failed miserably!
