Any chance any of you poor bastards happen to be a Jets, Mets and Islanders fan altogether?
I have led a lifeof of bad choices with sports teams all my life, in fact I am probably the reason the Jets suck. Sorry about that.

I went with the Rangers and Yankees, not dropping that ball again although that might be good news for Mets and Islanders. Finally in Basketball I've been a Utah Jazz fan for pretty much Kobes career.
The only luck I have had is that I live close to Barcelona now and they have a kick ass football (soccer) and Basketball team.

Yankee fan here...took a bunch of Boston bagpiper cawps to the Mets/Sawx game today. Excitement in the air, full house, optimistic Met fans everywhere.
Mets lost in a boring sleeper.
So, I'm somewhat of a cooler.

My old man was a Giants fan. But Joe Willie's Jets won the Super Bowl and my aunt bought me tons of Jets stuff. I should have punched both my aunt and my father in the face.
Result: Zero Championships
My old man was a Dodgers fan and became a Mets fan. Back in 1973, the Daily News posted a charicature of a Met & Yankee player in the middle of the Sunday funnies. The Yankees sucked back then. My older brother took all of the Mets players so I took the Yankees and became a lifelong fan. I should thank my brother.
Result: 7 Championships
My old man was a Ranger fan. I used to watch games with him and became a fan. Was in HS when the Islanders dynasty happened. It was miserable. But at least they gave us 1994.
Result: 1 Championship
I'm not a big pro hoops fan but I do follow the Knicks. They are like the fargin' Jets of basketball.

I am also a Jets-Mets-Islanders fan. Things are looking up right now for the Mets and Isles. And I am excited about the direction the Jets are moving in -- although I am not quite sure what to expect for this season.
At least I have seen the Islanders win 4 cups. I wouldn't call that one a bad choice, although I could see how fans who are younger than I am might disagree.
To add to my misery, I am also a Georgia Bulldog graduate. Every other SEC power has won a national title since I graduated: Bama, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, LSU. But not us.
There is always next year.
