Thats kinda the point of the movie. Luke Wilson as Roger Goodell? SRSLY? Shoulda went with Owen instead Though I don't think turning a serious issue such as Concussions into a comedy would be a wise idea.

I was in the ER with my daughter on Saturday sitting next to two people who brought their kids in for concussions from a scrimmage game for the local high school.

This movie looks like its worth watching.
Anxiously waiting for the movies of Spygate and the sequel Deflategate. NFL really won't be happy then.

Suggest everyone reads the LONG GQ article on the NFL and concussions. I suggest everyone watches the PBS documentary "League of Denial" that came out a year ago.

I don't know about this movie yet...
It's absolutely an important topic, and i think we're all a little scared to turn over the "NFL" rock for the fear of what we might find out -- but at the same time -- if this film smells in any way like it's pulling strings and demonizing the NFL as the evil corporation in a your typical hollywood fashion, then it's going to fall on deaf ears. People want to love the NFL. This movie needs to feel genuine if it's going to work.

I think the truth is more likely than not worse than the fiction.

You’re right I don’t, but I do know a scenario where ex-players are blowing their brains out, a whistleblower Dr gets shat on for getting his degree from Nigeria, another specialist gets larfed at for being a woman and the billion dollar company names a dude who got his degree in a cracker jack box Head Trauma expert would be totally unbelievable.

I appreciate the picture your painting. Not debating whether there's a story here.... What goes on in L.A. however, is a different kind of animal.
