Honestly, I don't think it will make much of a difference with Amaro being out. Last year he wasn't much of an upgrade over Cumberland. You need TE's.

That we wasted a second round pick on that waste of space when we could have gotten one of the top WRs who were still available in rd 2 with that pick.

We also wasted a first round pick. Everyone has hated Amaro since day one here. The Idsuck stink is being washed away slowly but surely. Sheldon needs to be bathed in vinegar yet, but we will remain to be seen on that.

It just seems like we r gonna pay for that year's draft for a long time. 12 picks and nothing basically. U can't do that and b ok. Hopefully we can overcome it but it ain't gonna b easy.

Meh... we already seem to be nearly past it at the time being. At least slightly above even anyways. McCags looks like the fuckin miracle man.

I'll reserve judgement until we actually play some real games and we c how his draft picks do. Also, it's not only the crappy picks he made, but the players we didn't get. We could have traded some of the 12 picks, moved up slightly and taken Jarvis Landry in round 2. And a million other great players we didn't get. Anyway, spilt milk and all, but just because Macc seems a lot better than idzik so far doesn't mean we r out of the woods. That draft is only a year old and he whiffed on 12 picks. We may as well have not showed up that day. It's just scary. Hope we turn in around fast and can fill those lost drafts with FAs and whoever. Let's c how it plays out.

Trevor Reilly, who will never be more than a STs and backup could end up being the best player we got from that draft.

Shefty tweets:
Adam Schefter @adamschefter 20m20 minutes ago Bears have acquired TE Khari Lee via trade with the Houston Texans for a 2017 sixth-round NFL Draft pick.
Wonder if MMcG inquired about this guy from his former team and if he would he have been worth giving up a pick for.

Should probably keep an eye on Detroit's TE situation.
From Rotoworld: "The Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett said TEs Joseph Fauria and Tim Wright are competing for "probably only one spot." Wright would seem to have the edge as the Lions traded for him just three days ago, but all Wright cost was a kicker who was unlikely to make the final roster anyway. Wright has floundered in both New England and Tampa Bay following a breakout rookie campaign, and Fauria offers the Lions a red-zone threat they are missing at the back end of their receiver corps. This competition could go down the wire, and both tight ends may end up on the final roster."
