Thanks,............Sheraton or Embassy Suites? Embassy suites has a great breakfast included, ALSO every evening they have a manager's happy hour, free beer and wine. ALSO see if they have a concierge level they can put you on. I think the price difference is little or none. The setup is a bit nicer with a Keurig in the room and free snacks and sodas near the elevator. Just a tip from your Uncle Buck.

There are pros and cons associated with either the Sheraton or Embassy Suites:
Sheraton: Will earn Starwood Preferred Guest Points. Given that this is their 50th anniversary, I'm guessing that they are an older couple. So it probably doesn't matter. Sheraton's that have been renovated tend to be much nicer than ES. The biggest problem with ES (design of the hotel), is not present at Sheraton. Almost all ES hotels have the open atrium look. Looks great...but it has one disadvantage. Noise. Given that it is a suite hotel, it attracts lots of families with kids. Those little bastards are released by their parents at night to run the hallways, making noise. This noise bounces through the hotel...and you are guaranteed to lose sleep...until you open the door and threaten to abduct one of the miscreants. (If I sound a little bitter, it is because I just had this happen at an ES on a business trip 3 weeks ago).
ES: Free breakfast and drinks! Hit the breakfast during a non rushed period. The couple can load up on jello and oatmeal. Beer, wine, and in some cases, mixed drinks are free during the managers reception. Good opportunity for Grandma and Grandpa to get loaded....then head back to the room. Space.....you are in a suite. He will be able to violate old girl in the bedroom, on the sofa, in the bathroom on the vanity...etc. After 50 years....maybe he can even go anal!
Fuck it. Tell them to book the ES...

Wait, so you live in a van down by the river and I'm insane? I'm Batman, in cowboy boots.
