Was it me, or was there the slightest smirk on his face for most of the game? Reminded me of this ---> like he wanted to bust out a big smile but thought it would be unseemly. anyways...

Defiantly was, and a little dapper fist pump on Pryor''s INT.

Cant get a read on the guy. Sometimes I think he might be too quiet but everything you hear about him suggests he is in complete control.
Im just glad we no longer have used car/PSL salesmen running the team.

I could see this guy hawking everything from auto parts to nail salons.

I loved the clip in pre game of him asking Couples last week if he was going to let the offense have all the fun in his Bubba Gump voice lol

There was also a shot of him laughing on the sidelines while talking into his headset/microphone. He seems cool, calm, and collected on the sideline. I did disagree with the first challenge, it smacked of the Rex days when it seemed a challenge was rarely won by the Jets. However, I had the advantage of seeing it on television, and he was probably relying on someone from above.

The defense was gassed and we needed a timeout to regroup, so why not use a challenge it and have them look at it too? Even tho there was a small chance of it being overturned I think it was the right call there.

If there's even a 10% chance of them overturning the call in such a big spot you do the challenge.

The type of challenge Rex would have made would be something like the spot of the ball on a 2nd down, at midfield. That was a good challenge. Like Hollywood said, they needed a timeout there irregardless, so why not make it a challenge and hey, maybe they overturn it. No harm no foul. If not, we accomplish our needed time out.

Now, Rex would have probably taken the time out, looked at the play in question closely, and then tried to challenge it anyways. And lost.
