Brady runs that offense and brady alone. He was actually yelling at people to get in position so he could activate a receiver. He does whatever he wants out there. Its like having your coach on the field. Tears in new England when he retires Bullshit. Jimmy G will just step in and the Pats offense will not miss a beat. As you guys have learned me over the years, Brady is nothing more than a system QB. If Grappalolop turns out to be a franchise QB, I may just stop watching football altogether.

Did anyone else pay attention to Bradys' calls at the line of scrimmage? Half the time he was yelling at players to get in the correct position or barking out instructions that make no sense. It happened so often that it makes me wonder if they were actually covert signal calls. Can that many players on the Pats really not know where to line up? It was like Brady was the on field coach in a pee wee football game telling players where to stand. And Gronk, I lost count of how many times Brady's line calls included "Gronk get up on the line!" WTF!? But the oddest call by far was in the second half with Brady in the shotgun -- He pointed to the left and yelled multiple times "Watch that guy!" Who the fuck was he talking to? And since not one Pat was actually looking at Brady, how would they know who he was talking to and which Jet he was pointing at? I thought it was really bizarre. But, it made it very apparent to me that the Pats OC is not on the sideline, he's under center. At one point he pointed to a wide out and folded his arm "I dream of Genie" still. The wide out then did the same thing. I think the fact that 3 of his 5 OL have less than 10 starts total between them is a big reason for the added activity for Brady. As much as I hate him every time we play them there is no denying his greatness. Just sucks that he is in our fucking division.

Yeah, I saw it. And truth be told, I was kinda impressed by it. How often do you see teams taking illegal formation penalties, false start penalties, etc because a player isn't set on the line? It's actually pretty damn frequent. Hell, we witnessed it first hand yesterday. I hate Brady's fucking guts, but anyone who thinks this guys success only stems from deflated footballs is a fucking dildo. Got to agree. Brady is in a league of his own right now. Rodgers is great but he does not "see" the game like Brady. Other than Gronk there are a bunch of Jags on O for the Pats. If the Jets and Pats switched QB's the Jets would have won that game 60-3. What is really frustrating is that Brady says he wants to play 10 more years and I'm afraid he might. He has clearly adopted a Franco Harris mentality of being very conscious of avoiding hits. Every time a pass rusher is within 7 feet of him with a free run, Brady does not step up, run or do anything to get away from the hit. Instead, he goes down to the turf and assumes the fetal position. I think it's brilliant. Why the Fuck should he take a hit to try to complete one pass. By doing this he is avoiding probably 20-50 hits per year. I think the fact that he is also a pussy is as much a factor in this behavior.

I noticed some of them. The one time he told Gronk to get off or on the LOS. Let's not get too crazy about that, most NFL QBs can spot a clear illegal formation.
There was also a very audible moment where he initially identified Harris as the Mike and then changed his mind and identified Davis(or vice versa). We then rushed on of those guys(I believe it was Davis who changed the Mike call to) and he came through untouched, so it appears Brady likely checked into the wrong protection. It could have also been a blown OL assignment.
There was a thread yesterday talking about how we didn't "confuse" Brady at all. Now I won't say they had him completely bamboozled, but for awhile, he was definitely processing things slower than he normally might. He had multiple occasions he had to pull down the ball where the route he thought would be there wasn't. That's where our lack of pass rush hurt. When he disects the play and can get the ball out quick, pass rush won't have time to get there anyway.
