i'm not a "real fan?" I have Jets t-shirts and jerseys older than your momma. maybe the reason we wanted a loss yesterday is so we wouldn't end up with a fucking scrub like you as our first round pick again. the next impact play you make will be your first you fucking mook. i understand your affinity for your clueless coach and gm and owner -- they're the only fucking idiots on the planet that would have picked you before the end of the second round. so stfu while you continue stealing your paycheck and pursuing worse angles than inspector clouseau

Calvin Pryor should do something on the field before he talks.

I am usually not an angry raging fan...but I got to say that I agree with you guys. He better watch what he says and prove it on the field because so far he is a bust.

We should march on Florham Park with torches, pitchforks, bags of hammers, and bad poetry

Calvin Pryor has Kyle Burnt Toast Wilson written all over him.

Calvin owes all the money he's making right now(and any future contract) to Rex picking his overrated ass in the first round.

Pryor played well yesterday. He made two decent plays on that first drive. Outside of that, I don't think he did much for the rest of the game outside of when he got hurt. And this was against a terrible Tennessee offense.

And seeing how OBJ speaks and handles his success only makes those two meaningless wins last year and this pick suck that much more.

That's already more than Kyle Burnt Toast Wilson has done during his entire Jets career I think Kyle intercepted a ball a few years back. I may be wrong though. He's got those great dance moves too. Calvin may be a serviceable player at some point at the strong safety position, but he's not even close to being worth a first round pick. Especially with the amount of talent that this draft was loaded with and the team's needs at the time.

HOw long has Polamalu been in the NFL, and how long did it take before that was the case? Are the Steelers playing safeties at CB?

If recent history is our guide then the good safeties usually look good from the start. Polamalu, Reed, Berry, Thomas III, the late Sean Taylor. Those are just a few first round safeties off the top of my head.
