One of my daughters doosh bag friends came in his pants when he saw some old play thingie in my basement I bought million years ago. Hopefully that was the first time he has came in your basement. I thought the correct slang was "trunk" ?

Heard once you get into the game for a little bit, it gets real real glitchy.

Heard once you get into the game for a little bit, it gets real real glitchy. Well it's a Bethesda game, so I expect as much considering how much they put into it. So far I haven't seen any framerate drops but I know it's been reported on both consoles. As long as there arent any game breaking bugs or quests I can't complete Im ok with it.

I took yesterday and today off but that might not be enough. Thinking about just telling the wife to start bringing home the bacon.
I'm playing the PC version and haven't had a single crash yet and only encountered 2 or 3 minor bugs (the usual goofy stuff with Bethesda games, blew a guys head off and it floated in the air for a couple of seconds before falling to the ground and there was a time when I came to the top of a hill and saw a car bug out and tumble down a hill in the distance). That's it.
The weapons and armor customization is balls deep and I'm having a blast building up my settlements. The gunplay is also certainly improved over Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
Definitely my personal GOTY

That's it. The weapons and armor customization is balls deep and I'm having a blast building up my settlements. The gunplay is also certainly improved over Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Definitely my personal GOTY Mini review: (no spoilers) After finally getting home and helping the kids with their homework, doing dinner, was finally able to pop Fallout4 in for a bit last night. I was sooo ready to get going to the wasteland but you do have to create your character first. The character creator is very in depth (facial feature wise) that I found myself kind of rushing through it in order to get going. You do get a chance to rename and redo your character (as well as your SPECIAL stats) when you leave Vault 111. I also believe there are places afterwards where you can redo your character (Diamond City I think). There isn't much in the beginning of the game that you haven't already seen. If you dawdle around when the bombs drop instead of running to the vault you will get killed, lmao. Once you leave the vault you pretty much meet Codsworth right away (he's pretty funny) back at your old home in Sanctuary. Be sure to look for the SPECIAL book in your home for another SPECIAL point. The Red Rocket Truck station is pretty close to that, and that functions as your 'home base' right off the bat, which is nice. You can drop off all the junk you've hoarded right there at the workstation. I think you can jump right into scrapping everything in Sanctuary as your settlement but I didn't bother with any of that yet. The next closest location is Concord, which was also revealed in one of the gameplay trailers, where you clear out a bunch of raiders, which is where I left off for the night. Graphically up close it's not going to blow anyone away. It sure is colorful compares to FNV and F03. The world is full of detail and the looting system is nice, fast and easy, which is good because there is a sh*tload of stuff to look for. Heard some negative things about framerate drops and input lag on the PS4, but I haven't seen any of that so far. I already can't wait to get back into it. Going to be a long work week! PS - Been spending a lot of time on the following subreddits, lots of info. tips and tricks www.reddit.com/r/fo4www.reddit.com/r/fallout

Game is shit. Looks shit. Plays shit. Surpassed in every way by MGS and Witcher 3.
Looks like it should have come out in 2003.

That's where I left off. I was never a big gamer until I started working from home, so this is my first time playing the Fallout series. It's been pretty fun, but aiming with guns in this game is harder for me than most. Idk why.

Eh, I'm tired of every game being compared to The Witcher 3 like it's the holy grail of all RPGs this year. TW3 definitely still has its share of bugged and broken quests, not to mention the looting mechanic and swimming is still terrible. The inventory system is no great shakes either.

I was just yanking your leg. In truth, game is....interesting, but so far not grabbing me that hard really. Feel VERY bogged down by the crafting/weapon upgrade/settlement system tbhq. Wasting hours trying to get that sorted and grabbing previously worthless loot to scrap for that one stupid mat for a sight or somesuch. We'll see, I'm very slow at these games and only 6 hours in (probably 1 hour in for most folks). So we'll see. I'm sure I'll run my usual Fallout 100+ hours.
