Guess we are gonna find out what winters is all about once and for all. I'm guessing cold and rainy and snowy. Oh, and icy.

All though I really like Colon as a person, I have felt that his play has always been inconsistent, some great games and some poor games, although he did seem to clean up most of his penalties this year. He was great in the locker room and played nasty on the field and that will be missed.
Winters has the body and the talent to be above average to good, and this being his 3rd year in the program to my poor eyes he seems to have improved to be at least adequate. I feel his play and the perception of his play will be dictated on the health and availability of the rest of the starting O line.
I guess I'm just not feeling a lot of drop off in the O line with Winters finishing up the season.

Good Colon is one step closer to the door Winters needs as much time he can get, even if he winds up as depth OG.

As long as Mangold is in there, their play picks up IMO. So hopefully Mangold remains healthy. And hopefully Milliner can last the rest of the season! He's an upgrade from Cromartie if he can stay on the field. I'm more worried about the Safety position with Pryor AND Bailey out now. Miles is good but still very inexperienced.

I'm excited to have Millner back tempered with knowing how fragile he is, but the talent is there. Bowles has been huge for the growth of Pryor, hopefully he has had the same effect on Millner. I have learned to love Cro, but have been underwhelmed by his play this year and think he is about done, he is simply okay at this point. I don't expect to see him back next season.

Richardson Wilkerson and Williams all hustle down field looking to make tackles when have u ever seen Coples turn around and hustle and make a tackle past the line of scrimmage .. Rex will probably sign him to jam receivers next year

As shocked that I am to say this, losing colon for the rest of the year is a major detriment to our o-line, especially the running game No it isn't, Winters has been playing just fine. The OL missed Mangold!!

can't disagree with the move. the secondary needs help and winters actually played pretty well in the games before the break, you know when they were running well. milliner has quite a bit of talent. it reains to be seen if he can trust his achilles to play hard. at this point he's probably playing for the rest of his career so he'll be motivated.

Miliner IS an upgrade over the Cro. He has been burned many times this year before he got injured and now has a bad wheel again. I just said this in another thread but both safeties being out will be our biggest issue. I had high hopes for Miliner coming out of bama, IF he can stay on the field he was always in my eyes Cro's long term replacement.
