Yay! what else could go wrong for this team? This Sunday' game was the only apparent gimme in the rest of the schedule. As bad as the Texans are, they are playing tonight, so the Jets would have had even more of an advantage. The Texans will only have six days between games, while the Jets will have had 10 after playing on TNF.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Ryan Fitzpatrick is on the mend after undergoing thumb surgery Friday. But while he's expected to start in Houston on Sunday, Jets coach Todd Bowles isn't guaranteeing it.
And that means, there could be a Geno Smith sighting if things don't go the Jets' way.
Fitzpatrick's surgery "went fine," according to Bowles. But he admitted the Jets briefly considered resting the 11-year veteran this week to ensure there are no issues with his left thumb.
"I'm hopeful that he will be," Bowles said on Monday of Fitzpatrick's status for Sunday. "He had today off, he'll be off tomorrow, so we'll see on Wednesday how he feels."
