Finally got out of traveling for this holiday for the first time in well over 20 years.
Doing this thing at home and the only person coming over is my sister in law, so that will keep the wife off my back.
Since my kids don't eat anything we dont have to prepare a lot of food, I plan on spending this day unshowered, in my sweats, and playing Fallout4 as soon as the football games become blowouts.
Your plans? What say you?

Generally speaking, I hate to travel anywhere for the holidays. I'd rather stay home or very near home. But on Thanksgiving, we go to my sister-in-laws in Westchester. My wife has a big family and there's always a ton of people. I actually enjoy going. We mainly sit around and watch the games all day. Then I leave in time to get home to watch the late game.

LOL @ the new avatar Yeah, I just hate the driving, because it's usually me, and I have to stop drinking at some point. When I reach that point Im just tired and bored and just want to get the hell out and go home. I usually end up befouling the toilet at some point.

We always stay local for turkey. In-laws coming today and staying until Friday, which is great. Kid's have been annoying lately. I'm going to shower, eat food and watch football all day. May or may not masturbate watching the parade.

"Workers" across the land mentally checking out as we speak. we're slow this week in general since we don't risk sending out any new code to the field, especially during the holiday week. So everyone has bascially checked out. One of the best weeks to internet at work.

Heading to my sisters house. Since she really doesn't cook much, I offered to arrive early with a bird, and cook it. My mistake? Asking her what type of turkey she likes. I expected to hear...get at 16-18 pound bird. Maybe even...get a fresh bird, not frozen. Instead, I heard...buy an organic free range turkey! So, I go to the supermarket last night. There are a million turkeys, all types there. I then spot the case with the organic, free range turkeys. A 17.78 lb turkey is $88 fucking dollars! So....do I buy a cheaper bird and listen to her bitch and complain all day....or do I splurge on goldenfuckinturkey. I went with the latter. This bird better taste like freaking manna from the Gods.

One of the best weeks to internet at work. Sounds great! The client we're working for closes at 1:00 on Wed, yay! But the design house is in Canada and production in India so they give two flying f's about turkey day. Thus lots of deadlines tomorrow, so working full days this week, outsourcing blows sometimes.
