He has been great for us but LT has to be a priority signing/high draft pick next season. He is fading faster than .... something that fades really fast. if this is to be believed, this makes him 31st worst in Week 12.
And Mangold is still holding it together but I can see him getting more and more injured and not bouncing back as quickly, as time goes on.

I'd be curious for someone to comment on the tackle depth in the upcoming draft.
I agree that the FO has to think that the O-line is a concern. When we were running the ball this team looked like a 11 win squad - now we're gassed/hurt and old and stuttering into 8-8 territory. Lots of crap teams this year - Jets still look to be picking high-teens at best. Not a bad spot for a standout lineman.

Both are good guys. Steelers and Giants rebuild from the inside out, make it happen Tanny.

we've relied heavily on those 2 guys from the 2006 draft and when Mangold is out (D'brick never is but there's always a first time) - there is a noticable drop off.
Gotta look to the future.

Need to invest first rounders. These projects seem like they never develop. We need plug and play guys. Took the Cowboys 3 years to rebuild theirs.

Building a team is a real headache, it's just not getting a few play makers, it has to have a strong foundation. The Jets have been lucky to have Brick, and Nick which have allowed them to concentrate on other areas during the draft. However, in the very near future both will need to be replaced, as skills diminish and/or injuries take their toll.

We're gonna pay the price for neglecting the o line so long, and getting rid of the halfway decent ones for some no good reason

Could have 4 or maybe even 5 in the first round. Tunsil from Ole Miss and Stanley from ND are studs and likely top 10 picks. Mich State and OSU both have likely first rounders but some will question if they are LT or RT in the NFL.

Are those the 2nd, 3 year and R? I'm not sure what you mean Their Oline starters this year were a R, 2, 3, plus a 6 and 7 year player are the R,2,3 year guys out? Additionally, what benefits us right now is their not so good D.

Their Oline is a game of musical chairs, they shuffled people after injuries, then the substitutes got injured. It's hard to keep up
