Any chance Irsay goes on a binge and trades us Luck? Someone get him blind drunk. I would think these great QBs on these lousy teams would think about going to a class well run organization like the Jets. Luck must be regretting his "fuck that" comment

Any chance Irsay goes on a binge and trades us Luck? I'd trade our next 10 years of first rounds picks for him if he did, but he won't.

The horrible FO in Indianapolis has shown that Luck can't survive without some pieces around him so we would really be mortgaging our ability to do that (Not that this is even realistic but for argument's sake)

wheteher or not you suport fitz or not the season came down to the defense being unable to stop taylor and a shanked punt. considering the amount of resources the jets used this performance is unacceptable. i am not thinking that fitz is the starter of the future but right now he's the guy who has the respect of the offense and does play well enough to win games. it would not be a bad idea to keep him around for two seasons if only to help petty or some qb to be named later. obviously if a great qb comes free (like favre) then the jets should make a play. who are those guys? rivers? brees? mettenberg? whatever happened to drew stanton? imo lots of qb's would love to come to the jets to play with marshall and decker. +a billion. The offense was patched together with a 5th and 6th round pick of castoff s. With all the money they spent on the defense that was not supposed to be our Achilles heel. Every heartbreak loss this season was their fault Huge disappointment I said it all year, every game we lost was on the defense. This was supposed to be an elite Defense where we win games 17-10 and have a QB that throws it 20-15 times and doesnt turn it over. If you told me in the preseason we would have the offensive numbers Fitz, Marshall and Decker put up this year, I would have predicted 12 wins minimum. Revis is supposed to be our superstar and he couldnt cover Watkins all day, and our coaches made no adjustments. That is why we lost. Defense should have held that offense to under 17 points. No question.

This is a terrible year for QBs right? I don't think so #20 would actually be a good spot for Connor Cook to go. And then there are high upside prospects like Wentz, Hackenberg, Kiel, etc slated to go in the 2nd/3rd round. I would be incredibly excited if we landed cook at 20. A great prospect to pair with petty and fitz
