It would have been sweet to have NE embarrassed by Cam and team but glad they are out. Cam is the most talented human being in the NFL today, but has endured the suckiest teams since the draft of anyone.
Head to head neither Brady nor Peyton can touch him. We'll see what the supporting members bring to the table shortly.

Cam is a nightmare to defend. He's enormous, can run, and has a ridiculously strong arm, and now he uses his feet to buy more time to pass down the field. IMO the Broncos only chance to slow him down will be to keep Cam in the pocket. While Cam is deadly when he can hurt you with all facets of his game, he is merely above average as a pocket passer. Fortunately for the Broncos, provided their Safeties are healthy, they have the kind of D that can cover the Panthers pass options and enough speed in the front 7 to try to contain Newton. I'm anxious to see what Wade Phillips cooks up. He did an exceptional job against Brady.

I think the bigger question is how Peyton does against Carolina's Defense - I just don't see them putting up many points I think that with 2 weeks to prepare Manning and Kubiak will figure out how to attack the Panthers to be reasonably successful. And with the way the NFL is, far more coaches with experience scheming against the Panthers will be calling Kubiak with helpful tips, than the opposite. Plus, the Broncos have the advantage of having been in the SB just 2 seasons ago, and perhaps most importantly, Carolina was a much better team at home this season. I don't know how that will play at a neutral field, but I do know they will not be in Carolina. Average score for games at Carolina: 34.4 - 17.5. Average score for Away games: 29.5 - 21.5. I still think the deck is stacked against the Broncos, but I would not be surprised if they won a close game with a score like 24-21. If Palmer did not throw that ridiculously bad interception late in the first half, it would have been a 17-10 or 17-14 game at half-time. Who knows what the second half of that game would have looked like.

Kubiak has shown what a puss he is. Repeatedly. They aren't gonna continue to luck out, and not against Carolina.

Play it conservative and safe on Offense and hope the D keeps it close. Carolina's opponents let the game get away from them because the panthers D thrives on turnovers.

Both top respective seeds, no scumbaggery and cheating... I like it.

Just need earplugs to ward off Manning's "Omaha" and Newton's "ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh" at the line of scrimmage each and every snap. If the Donkeys' starting safeties can't get healthy in a fortnight, I'd be putting my hard earned on Olsen to win the MVP. Gronk found holes in the middle of the field when Josh Bush had to come into the defence to replace Ward. Cam loves Olsen like I love my chili chips, so I'd expect Olsen to get 10+ looks during the game and rack up 100+ yards receiving, easily.

Which means Cam ain't winning this one. When the sheriff rides off into the sunset wearing a big white hat, Super Bowl trophy in hand, he will have restored order and integrity in the NFL! lol. Manning will become the new NFL logo like Jerry West is to the NBA. Plus 4, I'm laughing all the way to the bank.

There was a gif of a pass he threw against Atlanta that blew my mind. It looked like he threw a curveball around a defender's helmet.
