Being as illiterate as 32 technologically-speaking I've only recently stumbled upon podcats Anyways I have about 2 hours of commuting everyday and have found that this shit passes time really well. So watcha got? I discovered them for Serial, which is great, which has lead me to This American Life which is 3 stories around 1 theme..basically non fiction story telling. I'm trying to find a good History one.

Marc Maron and Chris Hardwick get great guests. Kevin Smith, love him or hate him, is a brilliant story teller. If you can deal with the Boston accent, Bill Burr is hilarious and doesn't pull punches. Radiolab is cool when you want to learn something. 99% Invisible podcasts are only a few minutes long, so you can binge easily.

Serial is as addictive as a TV series. It's one investigation/story divided into 10 or so episodes. Year 2 is on Bowe Berghdal the American soldier captured by the Talibans and held captive for 5 years then released in a switch for 5 Taliban prisoners. It was highly debated because of the switch and because he was caught after walking off from his post, some say deserted.

Bump
Anyone looking for a good football podcast: MMQB 10 things
NOTHING to do with King's cheesy lame ass articles. It's hosted by Andy Benoit who's obviously a tape geek and breaks down football concepts. It's only X's and O's, no fluff pieces, just football.
