Was at a bar in San Diego last week and the bartender (a nice looking young lady) suggested adding a splash of something called St. Germaine to the mule. St. Germaine is a liqueur flavored with elderflowers. I had no idea what the hell it was but it make the drink great. She also suggested the Irish mule, substitute Jameson Irish Whiskey for the vodka, but keep everything else the same (ginger beer, bitters, lime in a copper mug, etc.). Stellar! I've heard of and had St. Germaine. Still don't know what the hell elderflowers are. I had to lookup Irish mules after I read your first post. Definitely something to try. Just looked up elderflowers. We should all be drinking St. Germain.....you know....for health reasons!

Going this route on Sunday (although beer is still in the plan as well). Moscow mules are just plain good. Party for 15 and everyone is bringing something chili, wings, cheesy bread, dips, desserts. Gonna be fat and drunk on Sunday (not much different from any other day though) Was at a bar in San Diego last week and the bartender (a nice looking young lady) suggested adding a splash of something called St. Germaine to the mule. Bought copper mugs once I got into the Mules. I prefer Gosliings ginger beer, Reed's was ok and hated the Cock-n-bull.

I'm going to give these a try this Sunday - Meatball Onion Bacon Bombs imgur.com/gallery/cjx0cI'll be sure to let you know if they were a success or if I managed to hospitalize my entire family. That shit looks good. Im making the annual pot of chili. Beef, beans, bacon, and beer.

I don't have cable/satellite. I'll probably be watching Better Call Saul on Netflix with Betsy.

My oldest got hooked on Elderflower wine when she was in the UK for a few months.

Brined the wings overnight.
Made a nice honey chipotle sauce, honey BBQ for the weak, and the traditional franks hot sauce wings.
I prefer Blue Cheese for dip, but, most like Ranch so have both!
