You draft a QB, even if you think Petty can be the future. Use Washington as the example, they would be screwed if they didn't take Cousins along with RG3 that year.
Keep drafting them until you hit on one.

How are we in a "win now" mode? Compared to who? The Dolphins? We have a good mix of vets and youth that won 10 games last year with a new system on both sides of the ball. Plus a 1st year coach that won't tolerate losing. I'm not telling anyone what they already know. As fans the Jets have a huge following from SBIII and baby boomers wanting one more SB victory on our bucket list, before we die. Every year is a win now mode! lol Times a surely waste'in. btw $uck the dolphins. I really believe we have the right people in charge. Mac is going to have one hell of an off season. He could go in a lot of different directions, but when its time to kickoff the 2016 season the Jets will be a better team. So just for this year I would risk that we already have the QB of the future and draft some offense. This kid from Pitt we picked up, Archer is interesting. Peebag, you watched SBIII live didn't you? the simple fact is the jets are in a win now mode. they've never been bad enough (at least recently) personal wise to force a complete blow up. mccagnan did some good things last season by opening up the wallet to get revis, cro, skrine, gilchrist, and marshall, as well as signing fitzpatrick. those moves seriously upgraded the team. if he can bring in a few more key players then yes, the jets are a win now team. the 10-6 record was no fluke. it could easily have been 12-4. of course the down side is they will be picking in the high teens early 20's from here on out so it's doubtful if they'll get one of those blue chip players. but teams like the steelers, patsies, bengals, packers, and others do pretty well with this range of picks. why not the jets?

Mike Maccagnan will absolutely draft a qb. Wolf told him that's the key.
