until we get solidified at QB, it's all moot anyway.

yes but that lies on the management who caved to the fans by listening to them about going out and spending last year like a drunken sailor. While Idzik was terrible talent evaluator he did one thing right he was frugal and got the team 50 million under the cap for one reason so you can retain your players. Had the Jets used the 50 million to resign Wilkinson, Snacks, Ivory, even locking up Fitz last year before the season to a cheap contract the Jets wouldnt be screwed right now. The fans however cried about Revis how the Jets need to spend 14 million a year on a CB on the downside of his career you just don't do that for a reason now I hope the fans learn this is what happens when you overpay for a player. To be honest the Jets should have let Wilkinson walk tagging him was a mistake. The Jets drafted Leonard Williams last year no reason to resign him no team can pay for 3 elite DE. Should have used the money to resign Snacks, Ivory, Davis, Maybe even tried to retain Fitz At this point hopefully the Jets draft well and some of last year picks play well maybe Petty is ready that's all that you can hope for. I'm sure Mac will have some surprises and maybe one of these guys will be resigned but don't get your hopes up.

It's the day before free agency starts and the Jets haven't done anything. Time to pack it in and look forward to 2017.

Im predicting Nothing. Last season took it all. Until they get to a superbowl i mean actually get into it. I will pick them apart all year long regardless of wins. So Ill be picking them apart until i die then im sure I feel the same. Those two loses to Turkey and in that fashion took somethin from my soul. I feel disinterested, just like "wake me up if this shit ever changes". Bollocks to it. I agree brothers. F this team. Who gives a crap if they resign old boring fitz or whatever. He wasn't good enough last year when he had a career year. They proved the b the same old losers against the bills. They can really just blow me because I just don't care.

I do. No cap room, an unwinnable scenario with the Fitz FA saga, an older o-line, no real running backs, no pass rusher, no linebackers a question question mark at TE (not that if really matters in this offense), and questions at corner. Oh yeah and a harder schedule. Sorry for the vitriol, scheduled my first day off for Wednesday and this afternoon I come down with the fucking flu. No fishing for me in 72 degree temps, instead I'll be inside shivering to death. STUPID PARASITES. Absolute complete BULLSHIT. Completely wrong.

Heard the same exact line from people about idzik. Hope he's a good GM but I was not impressed with last years draft. He was just named Executive of the Year in his first season, dicksnap. Not sure how you could be so down on last years draft when Leo was a Top 5 rookie on essentially everyone's list and Mauldin showed signs of developing into a legitimate starter at OLB. Don't see how the fuck it's Macc's fault that Devin Smith got a punctured lung in training camp and then blew out his ACL in December. We didn't need Leo with that pick. Plain and simple. As for Devin Smith , even when he came back he was a drop machine. Not saying Macc is on the level with idzik but I'm not overly impressed with his drafting skills by any means. He's got this draft to show me something but if he messes up the planes and banners will be swirling met death with a vengeance!!!!

Could end up with cap space & high picks for Mo. That pick would look real good to you then.

He is a good player but honestly watching teams like the broncos pressure the QB constantly makes me realize our DLine isn't elite. I think you let Williams take his spot and see where else you can spend some of the money.

I think that was essentially the plan when the Jets were chasing Vernon If they could've landed him for $14-15 million per, I think they would've revoked the tag on Mo and let him hit the market. Pretty sure that's allowed as long as Mo hasn't signed his tender
