Since when is Bilal powell anything special? The guy barely played last year until the end and he did look good. He's had one good year in five season. The Forte signing reminds me of the Tomlinson pickup a few years ago. I really hope we draft a RB in the second or third. Powell does the little things as a back, the unsung things like blocking...he doesn't have break away speed and that is his biggest and probably lone drawback. He is a great complimentary team player

It's just a complimentary back in bilal powell, khiry robinson (whoever that is), and an aging matt forte. Nothing about that gets me excited.

Colour me shocked. Powell returning is a big plus. Robinson feels a little redundant tho. Would have liked a thumper - but still feel good about all this. Adjusted dream: 1 - QB lynch 2 - OLB Calhoun 3 - LT Beavers 4 - TE Hemmingway 5 - WR Robinson Orgasm Robinson is a Thumper. He's 6'0" 220 lbs. He's basically Ivory but 2 years younger, less mileage. It reminds me of when we traded for Ivory. Same exact situation and type of player.

I'm just saying I've never even heard of the guy, so i'm not going to get too excited about him. Did you know who he was prior to today or ever really see him play a down? I'm sure most of us had to google his numbers for the first time today.

Powell was such an underrated part of the offense last year. His absence, more then Ivory's in week 17 against Buffalo cost us that game.
Robinson and a nice 2014 but kind of got lost in the shuffle last year. He's a good add and an upgrade over what we had at RB3 last year.

I would say that the very large majority of people who play fantasy football know who he is and more people than not have at least heard of him.

I was thinking that when i was typing that response. I don't play fantasy, but everyone knows these nobody players these days because of all these fantasy leagues. I don't know... hopefully he's good. Probably not going to mean much unless we get someone to hand him the ball and not throw 3 int's every game like the current QB on our roster.

So I went to a Saints site to read up on this guy. Apparently he decked an intern because the guy owed him money. LOL Geno better not ask him for a loan.

Evidently it wasn't just Chucky who saw shades of C-Mart At this point I am just looking for a solid role player to help keep the miles off of Forte so he can stay fresh for the whole season.

Get used to the idea of OL at 20, folks. Either that or LB.

Of course I'm sure as hell not expecting Robinson to be the next Curtis Martin, but it's still pretty sweet to have a stable of RB's who are all adept at catching the ball out of the backfield and can hold their own in pass pro.
